I am actually sick to death of this level of mediocrity. New owners, same old problem.

Stuck with Moyes for another year. May as well just give next season a miss. I can't remember feeling this dejected as an Everton fan... And yet, we've not long been in relegation battles.

Fully agree that Moyes should be held accountable for continuing to play that backline despite their sustained record of conceding two or more goals a game. But I think that is an issue of quality (both of the players and the manager) rather than mentality or bottle.

Fair enough. I just happen to think Moyes's personal lack of managerial quality feeds into a lack of self-belief and, thus, bottle.

But yup - we need better on the pitch and in the dugout.

Our goal diff hovered around 0 since Christmas. No way were we worthy of EU. We were nothing but pretenders and because of it, failed to develop our youth investments.

Bottled it. The opportunity has been on the table for ages, but other teams are stepping up to claim it.
