Because the ones who voted to leave all had different reasons for wanting to leave, and as all are unlikely to be totally satisfied, we should in fact stay. Oh, and because if we did leave, in your humble opinion, their lives would not be changed in the way they had hoped for.

A quick scan over the to and fro would suggest quite a bit of bear-poking going on, rather than an attempt to partake in meaningful discussion. Seems at odds with the spirit of the board if you ask me.
Very few MPs would openly vote against invoking article 50 as they are afraid that this will be seen as undemocratic. But a lot will try and influence proceedings via the negotiating avenue by trying to impose conditions that would be unacceptable to both the EU and the leave voters. That could scupper negotiations with EU initially and will lead to an early GE. In my view, that will backfire massively on the remain supporters as I expect the Tories to get in with a big majority and have a lot of support in Parliament from a big increase in UKIP members.
