Can someone explain how to put a poster on ignore? Mods don't have that option so I've no idea how it is done, thanks.

Click on the poster's name on the left and then click Ignore (or Unignore).

Well, there's a projected £100bn hole in the public finances?

Based on a re-alignment of growth forecasts following the Brexit vote which is all speculation at this stage. Part of that hole is also a result of lower than expected actual growth rates over the last 24 months, a lot of which had nothing whatsoever to do with Brexit. In fact, growth performance since the vote has actually improved I think.

The biggest problem at the moment is uncertainty and whilst the country bickers over Brexit that uncertainty is going to continue. We need to get article 50 invoked and start the negotiations as soon as, so at least everyone knows what direction we're headed in.

Joey, I appreciate the passion behind your views on leaving the EU even though we hold oposing views.

In the main the conduct in this thread has been good, posters focusing on the issues rather than individuals. You may disagree with me but I do not believe anyone has stepped seriously out of line, let's just focus on the issues not the individuals posting.

If you have concerns over any individual use the report function rather than argue with the poster concerned. Thank you.

I respect that, but his thinking of being clever analysis in bold highlighting stupid, and falsities are and will be reported in future I have tried to put him on ignore as you say a debate should be in the best possible taste

If they post something, without quoting you, you won't see it at all. If they choose to reply to a post you've made, you'll be notified, but it should say 'ignored member quoted you', so it's up to you if you choose to read it.
