You know how it's one of the biggest trading blocs in the world?

Yeah, we get our own way in that bloc 90% of the time.

Pretty much the dictionary definition of influence.

The UK sits as one of 5 permanent members of the United Nations Security Council. The Queen heads up the Commonwealth, we are a recognised Nuclear Power, we have the 5th largest economy in the world, the 5th greatest military, the UK passport is welcomed in more countries in the world than any other. We do ok and more importantly, the EU do ok because of us.....

Sixth now, BBC News Channel before.

Our Global trading relationships are blown apart.

Our current trading relationships are recognised in the context of the UK being part of the EU - we have no relationships anywhere in the world that fail to recognise our membership of the EU - that's a fundamental tenet of the Brexiter's argument, we're not the UK we are the EU because we cannot act independently.

Without the EU cloak our relationship with all other trading countries changes - I hope you understand that. It's not just our relationship with the EU that's going to change, it's our relationship with the rest of the world.

Hence our relationships "blown apart"

We may not get a better trade deal with the EU, that is possible, but we can now do other trade deals that were not on the table and were at the whims and mercy of another 27 votes......swings and roundabouts...we may well lose a bit from the EU but gain far more elsewhere. In addition the few countries such as Germany and France that do have large trade deals with the UK will not allow them to be hit because their pain will be just as great....

You claimed that the EU were blocking the UK from making trade deals - 'that were not on the table'. Not true, the UK can trade with any country now as a member of the EU. The UK is not at 'the whims and mercy of another 27 votes' in relation to trade deals. The UK can sell its' products anywhere in the world, as the trade figures show.

'We may lose a bit from the EU but gain far more elsewhere'. Which products are the UK going to sell to which countries that it can't sell now? The 'gain far more elsewhere' doesn't exist and that is not down to the EU or the EU blocking 'free trade' agreements. The UK doesn't sell more to the EU or further afield due to demand. And that is before the UK could possibly lose some of its passporting financial services sector agreement. The vultures in the EU are hovering over the UK financial sector waiting to pick the bones.

A devalued pound can help the UK export more if it is not a major import of raw materials and goods that go into producing the product. Those that import components to make things, the price has risen and made UK products more expensive.

The biggest threat('their pain) to Germany is the US punitive $14 billion fine against Deutsche bank that is designed to bankrupt it and will, if implemented in full, have far reaching financial and economic implications for not only Germany, Europe but the rest of the world.

The UK can trade with the EU after, or if, it leaves the EU but will have to pay tariffs unless it can negotiate a non tariff favourable deal. The financial sector, the main driving force behind the UK economy, is the UK's Achilles heel and those on the continent know it. The UK hasn't got a good hand to deal and they know it, as was shown by the likes of May and Davis in parliament today.

You've summed up the Government's approach to the referendum, EU, and Brexit perfectly. Offer a referendum to secure the sceptic vote in the 2015 GE, tick! be fairly ambivalent in the campaign but expect a narrow remain result. Oh, we have a narrow leave result, sorry we've no plan, we'll make it up as we go along.

You'd never let a board of directors run a company in the way this government is running our nation, our future and the future of our children/grandchildren.

Total dereliction of duty from our PM and cabinet.
It's a myth the MPs Pms run our country @The Esk who runs the country in the summer holiday break of 8 weeks?
They hardly turn up anyway!
The civil servants run and advise the country they are just robots sometimes!

Don't cut my quotes down. Print them all and answer the question. Our trade relationships have not blown apart. Your views regarding the Eu above just amplify why we need to leave. The Uk knows how to trade and has done so for a long time. Our relationship around the world certainly will change and for the better......and you can quote me in full on that... To say that our relationships have blown apart is arrogance and delusion beyond belief, we haven't even sent the Eu a letter yet......can we just drop the over the top comments that insinuate fact but are merely personal views...
