That polling data suggests that those Labour supporters who want to leave are shifting to the Tories anyway. With remain supporters moving to the Lib Dems Labour run the risk of being left holding the baby.

They certainly face a squeeze. It's why Corbyn always wanted the constructive ambiguity line to continue and to keep options open...although ultimately you need to make a decision either way on Brexit. If Labour openly embrace Remain then they take a lot from the Lib Dems, as most will recoignise that Labour are the only realistic choice to face the Tories down in most constituencies. On the Tories: the Brexit Party aren't in the game yet, so the rising Tory share of the vote has to be viewed in that light. When the Brexit Party start campaigning (unless there's a pact - highly unlikley IMO) it'll have its effect.

Overall: once the campaign gets going the Brexit issue might always be there, but it'll compete with other issues and I dont expect any majority government come the end of the next election. It;s all about blocs and coalitions. That's the era we live in, like it or not.

If 'Boris' and his ilk had voted for the deal then we could have been out by now and saving all that money... for some reason you're now backing one of the most high profile Brexit saboteurs...
Who led the official Brexit campaign and won......... he seen the Queen today probably to resign....... a tory interim PM will take over ...if so.....

for all those who claimed leave had no proper plan, don't forget that the EU wargamed us out of all Leave strategies

remember 'no negotiation before notification'

You Gov poll has the Tories on a 14% lead.
not something i would have predicted given whats gone on.

perhaps the dead in ditch and do or die statements have convinced them hes more committed to the cause than May.

but in reality it shows you how poorly Corbyn is thought of. How he cannot make hay in such a set of circumstances is nothing short of disgraceful for Labour.

There's a real distaste for prolonging the Brexit decision. It goes beyond personalities.

It's early days though. I expect a lot to change over the next month and half.
