This isn't a war you utter fool not matter how much to try evoke a wartime spirit by describing those who want to remain in the EU as defeatists and those who want to leave a true patriots.

The Dads Army pic posted a few days back was entirely appropriate to describe you.

Again, you quote selectively. Have a read of my post again, particularly the last few words. More fool you!

Ah, the typical arrogant remainer response.

Poor little leavers. Bless em. Didn't vote the right way so if we talk down to them enough they will change their minds.

Wrong. It reinforces our position.

We did know what we were voting for. It was Remainers who largely had no idea of what the future would have in store.
As i said before I am Irish ,so neither a leaver or a remainer,it doesn't affect me a lot.
But if you honestly believe that all Leavers knew what they were voting for then you are seriously deluded
I have seen the following reasons given for voting leave
I want all them foreigners gone/
I want a blue passport
I want the 39 b put into the health service
i want all the foreign fishing vessels out of our waters
This was said by a Scottish fisherman despite the fact that the EU had paid for a new processing plant for his fish and he exports most of his fish as its too expensive for British shops
A flower importer who wanted to retain British sovereignty,
When he was told his Dutch flowers could spend days on the docks he was shocked

So thats two wars caused by the British government thinking it could leave the continent to look after itself, one where they (accidentally) gave the Argentines the green light by cutting the Royal Navy and one other one where the US did almost all the actual work.

Good historical research, that.

An interesting view of the world.

Does that mean that you are worried about the rise of a 4th Reich when UK leaves EU. In your own words, we are a small country now and I thought we wouldn't be missed. All this fuss about such a small country.

Kind of shows you and EU up for the bunch of self serving hypoctites you are doesn't it.

You're either a genius troll or a terrifying nutter.

And there is me thinking that WW2 was caused by the Nazi (proper name National SOCIALIST) Party, anti semitism and Germany charging west through Europe.

the newest form of racism........

“Nearly two in five people who voted to remain in the EU would be upset if their child married a leave supporter, a survey shows.

The YouGov poll of 2,380 people found more than one in 10 (11 per cent) of remainers would describe themselves as "very upset" if their offspring tied the knot with a Brexiteer, while another 28 per cent said they would be "somewhat upset".

Only 11 per cent of leave voters said they would be in any way upset if their child married a pro-EU partner.

The poll also found that 11 per cent of Labour supporters would be "very upset" if their child married a Tory, while just 2 per cent of Conservatives said they would be similarly aggrieved if the positions were reversed.”

Now who are the real racists......
I understand what you're doing here Pete, but I think you're wrong to use the term "racist" in this regard. I think it belittles the subject and I'd rather you leave that behaviour to the usual suspects in here.

I think a more appropriate term would be to call them "haters" because that's exactly what some of them are. It isn't the vote itself that has caused the deep divides in the country. It is the vitriolic reaction to leavers from many remain supporters. I'm not surprised by those survey responses. In fact I thought the figures would be higher.

Jesus effin Christ .... you are one seriously deranged person

I am neither but you can form your own opinion.

I would say I am a patriot who wants a strong, independent UK, close ties (but no political assimilation) with European countries and who has the ability to negotiate bi lateral trade deals with whomsoever we wish without first having to get the approval of a drunk from Luxembourg and his cabal of failed domestic politicians and fraudsters.

Not too much to ask is it!
