And there we have it.

From the Remainers own mouth. Language straight out of the fourth reich playbook.

'The EU will make a salutory lesson out of Britain to warn other potential leavers of the consequences!'

First of all, No it won't because we won't allow it.

Second of all, thank you for letting the faux democratic facade slip and revealing the EU true dictatorial colours.

We need to get out yesterday.

Thank you for proving my point so eloquently for me.
Christ. If this guy is for real it's worrying.

As it goes I think he's a blatant troll.

Your Avatar says it all really

My Avatar represents my job.

I really hope yours does not.

But, once again, no meaningful response to offer so straight into playing the man rather than the ball.

That says more about you than any avatar can say about anyone.

Thanks.

Your grasp of how powerful UK still is, is the failure of your argument.

Sure, we are not as powerful as we once were (mainly thanks to EU membership) but we are quite powerful enough to see off a drunk from Luxembourg and his cabal of unelected cronies.

History is littered with examples of bullies trying to take on UK and getting their butts kicked - in this case in negotiations.

Bring it on.
This is very American for a true British Patriot.

We will survive very nicely. Look at our financial services sector just as a small example. Look at the countries lining up to do business with us once we have unshackled ourselves from EU.

They can see the benefits of trading with an independent UK that you either can't or won't see.
As I type ,a lot of those financial services are booking office space in under construction office space on Dublin docklands
The Post office is in danger of losing its banking partner (Bank Of Ireland ) and is scrambling around looking for another one

We won't be, though. We won't even be powerful enough to stand up to a man who thinks it would be a good idea to nuke storms.

I doubt that very much

Ah, the typical arrogant remainer response.

Poor little leavers. Bless em. Didn't vote the right way so if we talk down to them enough they will change their minds.

Wrong. It reinforces our position.

We did know what we were voting for. It was Remainers who largely had no idea of what the future would have in store.

I think your rose tinted glasses need adjusting.

Bring it on!
This isn't a war you utter fool not matter how much to try evoke a wartime spirit by describing those who want to remain in the EU as defeatists and those who want to leave a true patriots.

The Dads Army pic posted a few days back was entirely appropriate to describe you.

So thats two wars caused by the British government thinking it could leave the continent to look after itself, one where they (accidentally) gave the Argentines the green light by cutting the Royal Navy and one other one where the US did almost all the actual work.

Good historical research, that.

Surely Democracy involves the voters making fully informed decisions

Indeed. And we did.

Answer me this. If UK and EU are such a bad fit and always bickering, why is EU so desperate to keep us under its control. It sure isn't because EU loves us. Loves our money more like.
