So are you arguing that Leave Politicians lied, but Remain politicians told the truth.....really, seriously.....
I'm not sure how you draw that conclusion from a post that was broadly speaking an objective commentary on the inadequacy of the debate.

But generally speaking, Leave campaingers liked and promised things that cannot be delivered. Remain exaggerated and sensationalised elements of the debate for impact.

'the unelected EU presidents set the laws for all of Europe, and the elected NEPs then have to vote on those laws - the two parliaments alone maintenance cost 100 million!
It would be like our unelected House of Lords doing the same thing totally immoral IMO !'

I wonder who said that @Joey66

No one unless you have been in a court case believe me justice is a fickle thing often it's the barrister on their day who convince old privalaged of the bar which way to go how many cases to you hear of mis justice?
Many as nothing's perfect , and the dudicery is not exempt what ever what this case is decided it should have been avoided a GE may happen IMO as May can force a vote of no confidence on article 50!
The Lords may also eventually get reformed IMO not a day to late!
Yes you and Tony Blair , and Dim Farron lol
Bruce tbh watching the House of Lords today that's another unelected Polictical establishment needs trimming to an upper house better voted in by PPR to have a more balanced upper house with a bit of clout to stop any extremism in Parliment this place is a expensive outdated talking shop needs reducing to the above imo!
What scenario using Scotland when they voted no to independence, and they accepted it?
They trade more with the UK than the EU by the way on a massive scale!
Only large cbi company's and posh Lords want to defeat Brexit the filthy rich with self interest
Watch this weeks documentary on the EU Parliment - not needed end of!
Get rid of that and an elected smaller House of Lords and it would be a massive saving!
Well if we are leaving the EU instead of squabbling in the house of commons and get a better elected Lords who have caused all this crap we should be sending a message out to other big countries we are open for business soon, and show the confidence not disdain of it being on a knife edge of not happening a proper Brexit saving more money in the WTO where the EU put tariffs on us.......
Loving the vocal 'its democracy, will of the people' types begging the unelected House of Lord's to block the intentions of the democratically elected House of Commons.
Maybe the same person that is now delighted the Lord's are filibustering the democratic process.

Was hoping somebody would vault this...

The Lords giveth and the Lords taketh away

When you push a bill thorough in 5 hours by a person who's constituency voted 70 percent out in Yvette Cooper then the Lords is what it is ......
There is no way anyway that we will have left by April the 12 th - personally it may be the EU in the future now who decide our future with no deal off the table they may just throw us out only needs one country to veto,!
By the way in 2003 indicative votes failed in getting rid of the House of Lords, and that's our only way forwards if her Corbyn talks fail .....
Parliament is gridlocked and constituency wise it should not be ........if the MPs respected the referendum result and a Brexitier PM had negotiated a better deal!

Ian Jacob Miller’s petition:

2nd Referendum on Brexit where "remain" result triggers a General Election

The first referendum is tainted by reasonable claims of deception, questionable funding, and misinformation; voting was ill-conceived and has left regions divided; no clear plan has attracted support from Parliament or the public; we suffer while an inept leadership stagnates.

Multiple reports, citing several sources, illustrate the electorate were deceived and misled and, more alarmingly, that the Leave campaign broke electoral law - https://ind.pn/2Eg1frj (Independent); https://bit.ly/2qSzBIC (Channel 4); https://bit.ly/2U6C95M (The Guardian); https://bbc.in/2mp8L8C (BBC). Subsequently, the Conservatives have lacked leadership, avoided clarity, and blundered forward on a 37.5% mandate, lowering the quality of life for many within the UK in the process.
