What if May agreed to hold a referendum if her deal passes today.
She'd get the opposition 'peoples vote' MPs onboard and pass her WA
then there'd be a referendum on her WA or remain. This is not exactly a re run of the first ref and not as damaging to democracy.
Mays WA might also have a good chance of winning.

The ironic thing I suppose is that the backstop only comes into play if a deal isn't concluded within the withdrawal transition timeframe, and it's the arch Brexiteers who told us it would be the easiest deal in history that are getting worked up by the backstop, and therefore presumably of the opinion that the deal won't be done in that timeframe and therefore the transition period will have to be extended.

One would think they are being purposely obtrusive to progress their individual political careers, but as we know politics is for the greater good of the people. lol

So why is it entering our water ways via rocksalt on our roads another EU enigma ban it for nothing, then let it be used for another both uses are just as vital......
Sorry I've indugled this enough.

Sodium Chloride and Sodium Chlorate (which is banned) have different chemical compounds because they are different substances.

Sodium Chloride is NaCL
Sodium Chlorate is NaCLO3

One is hazardous to health and the environment and can be used to make bombs.

The other is salt. The EU haven't banned salt.
