To those saying we can't leave and all that, all May's withdrawal agreement covers is the period from now until the end of the transition period. Nothing more.
It says what our contribution to the EU budget will be during that period, how EU and UK citizens will be treated, and what happens to the Irish border in the event that a trade deal is not ratified by the end.

Nothing else.

Are they committed to the good Friday agreement?
we signed it if the EU want to put barrier's up to it as part of the agreement take it up with them ,I am quite happy for us to stick to it and let Eire and The EU what the deem acceptable for themselves in the context of any trade deal.
Has the UK ever said they wouldn't honour the good Friday deal?

It's perhaps worth noting for @Joey66 et al, that as well as the most innovative small businesses being most opposed to Brexit, it also reveals that their biggest concern isn't access to the EU market (as provided by a trade deal) but regulatory dis-alignment, as would happen when we 'take back control'. This point that businesses want the closer political alignment that you so detest seems to have escaped you as you continue to believe that this is something that businesses want.
On the contrary I have seen small business with a massive handbook file, stating they cant wait to leave as the stupid EU weekly checks will not be necessary anymore, and in time they will be able to employ more staff as it takes them so long to ensue stupid unnecessary EU directives........

Serious question Joe , what checks will go , What things won’t they have to do ?

Most of the supertrawlers operating in U.K. waters are owned by Europeans. They have negotiated private quota rights with the U.K. govt.

So no. Europeans will not stop eating UK fish - things will not change unless the Govt re-negotiates private quota limits and gives bigger quotas to the small independent fishermen.

Problem is under the current deal that renegotiation of rights won’t be started until 2020. By that time most of the small independent fishermen will have gone under (not literally mind).

The EU didn’t create this problem - the tories did.
They are causing a massive fish shortage by hoovering up young fish.....
our fishing industry on land , and at sea could boom into Billions as an industry, like it used to be - oh the extra fish we seel them frozen abroad anyone remember Fishburns a massive set up for home and selling abroad fish?

I watched a news clip and this factory owner had about 12 employees the alterations to buildings - facilities - packing etc etc came in every month from the EU -in his opinion totally unnecessary.... also enforceable by EU law.....
the paperwork alone was a headache time consuming and the actions costly.......

I’m sorry joe I just don’t understand what you mean . What are you suggesting the EU are making them do ? I’ve said before I often struggle to follow things so it’s probably my fault so in as simple language as you can Joe what are these 12 people at this factory engaged doing exactly?

Its actually quite amazing, that so many people think its actually more then this really. The whole thing could be done and dusted within a temporary time frame. To think of how high the stakes are its quite mad.

A hard Brexit is incompatible with the good Friday agreement. Border checks will become necessary unless freedom of movement is allowed and there is regulatory alignment for trade.
