Apparently the ERG are now split, much like the wider Conservative party.

The Grand Wizards (definitely not a KKK reference) those who will now back May and Spartans (I
assume a Thermopylae reference) who are holding out against it.

It's like when the two teams pick brand names at the start of the Apprentice, which they think makes them sound competent and intelligent, before they're ultimately revealed to be imbeciles.

Small businesses haven't got the memo either

https://newsroom.taylorandfrancisgr...sses-see-brexit-as-major-obstacle-to-success/

So that means small businesses think it sucks, big businesses think it sucks, academia think it sucks. Given that a big 'selling point' of this is that it's supposed to help Britain 'trade with the world', doesn't it worry Brexiteers that the very people that would do that think it's a terrible idea?

Happy No Brexit Day on the day Brexit was supposed to happen but didn't .

Another Meaningless Vote to take place to mark the occasion. You couldn't make up this farce.

Looks like No Deal is very unlikely now which is great news for everyone except the few hardliners who don't give a toss about the consequences for the rest of us.

Do you mean Grand Wizards are not black lynching racists?

Wonder if any Brexit coinage was minted and released, most likely worth a fortune being wrong etc. There is opportunity for all in seeking March 29th items out.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that yet. Parliament needs to agree on a way forward if we’re going to get another extension. They can’t agree on anything. Both main parties are split so it’s hard to imagine anything gaining a majority.

Good luck with that mate, unfortunately the fish are still able to have free movement , so will continue to mostly be in British waters most of the year.

Those fish always been snowflakes, the traitors. And as for the majority of our stocks, migratory fish coming here filling up and stealing our waters...

It's perhaps worth noting for @Joey66 et al, that as well as the most innovative small businesses being most opposed to Brexit, it also reveals that their biggest concern isn't access to the EU market (as provided by a trade deal) but regulatory dis-alignment, as would happen when we 'take back control'. This point that businesses want the closer political alignment that you so detest seems to have escaped you as you continue to believe that this is something that businesses want.

Is it that hard imagine that MPs are just struggling to find a way of delivering Brexit that will actually be beneficial for our country?
yes it is, when I see proof of something along those lines i will gladly praise them for it.
Till then they are doing what they have been doing for the last three years making a mess of it, we have basically had most of that time with parliament looking for way's of slowing the process down or playing party politics with the subject .
It was only a few days a go they voted to see what the could get behind should have been one of the first not the last
Even at this stage most of the smaller parties have no policy other than we want to stay, Labour have a wish list that didn't even begin to make sense and that's moves daily to suit the mood, the Tories well where do you begin.
Nobody has said what they will do to change the environment that brought about brexi t in the first place if we stay on these plans from are MP's or the EU like they will just disappear in a cloud of fairy dust as we go back to square one.
I hold the vast majority of them in contempt and will do till I see evidence to the contrary .
If it's there conviction that stay is the better thing then just have the courage to pull the plug no messing about and answer for it in the ballot box later I would respect them more than playing games.

most of the big UK commercial fishing quota's are actually EU owned companies from when the government put them out to tender a few years a go, so don't think there is much chance of a lack of British fish not going to the continent.( can fish have a nationality?)

The evidence is that having negotiated the best deal they could ever have realistically got that ended free movement (which was important to a lot of people), no one likes it. Least of all the public.

There is no way May’s deal vs remain would’ve won the referendum. It’s the opposite of “taking back control”.
