And @Neiler, if anything, as the prospect of a trade deal is fleshed out more, this is likely to be up for debate, as we have to remember that the kind of market access enjoyed by Norway et al comes with free movement. We won't have one without the other, so if any bending is going to happen, it's likely to be in that direction.

I'm surprised, that people are surprised about the outcome of this to be honest and we are in the preliminary stages. I think a deal like Norway or Switzerland would be mana from heaven if that is the outcome. If May goes its going to be interesting to see the profile of who comes next. Will peoples opinion be polarized to a pro or anti Europe leader at the helm and exactly what that could mean for the process.

They are making the usual out of time done deal excuses yet the final way forwards was only five pages that keeps us tied to the EU .......

Probably they want us to sign and get on with life, instead of our government making a holy show of the country with this schoolyard behaviour.
