Is it his job to? (Alcaraz btw) Last year it was Barry/McCarthy's job to cover when the fullback bombed forward. Barely see them doing so this season..

Not to cover when he went forward - to cover when Kiev doubled up on us on the wings, with the through balls in behind.

Listen I've been angry, sad, and now clarity.

There will be another 11 and another boss, so as long as I live, I'll support the club.

Everton FC.

* dances off to Z-Cars

lol so true mate. We will be here again in 4 years time with a completely different 11 kicking off. The constant remains is that we aint going anywhere and will stick by them through whatever comes our way ;)

The lack of cover provided by these two tonight was very poor, no one seemed able to close down their players in front of our defence. Anyway, Barry is finished, he simply can't get around, that is not in dispute. McCarthy got himself narked by the crappy ref blowing every time we touched one of their players.

Corners have been sickening this year. Talent wise we are sticking our thumbs in our mouths. No change to our Sussed out game plan. I really worry about our tactics and desire. Something has to change.

One aspect that does do me in , is that when Kone is brought on, Rom then spends time on the wing, instead of being in the centre, noticed this in the Newcastle game as well. Now Rom to me is no use out wide, can't score from there. Do not think it is a good idea playing both. Apart from that I think Kone is not good enough anyway.

just finished watching the game. not what I expected. tried to turn it off at 5-1 gave me flashbacks of Bucharest lol. (my first Europe away). seemed we had no midfield at times defence was sorry can't swear on here. confidence seemed to drain after their goal. I don't like blaming individuals so I won't but I know who they are lol

His subs where poor. Osman should have been on earlier and Gibson should have started.

God. Defense was shocking. Mainly Howard and Alcaraz. Coleman and baines too in fact I think it was only jags in defense. Attacking wise not too bad. Barkley played alright and was unlucky not to score twice.

Abysmal.
