Obviously I don't know much or anything about all this kind of thing so I have a few questions:
Yes he's mental, but will he be as bad as feared? Or more, will he be allowed to be as bad?
Will it be the usual promise a lot while campaigning and deliver not a lot as usual with these sorts of things?
I also have a random question about Ronald Reagan. He was an celeb turned president. Was it mad when he got in? Or did he have a better background than Trump? (I don't know what party Reagan was because i'm dumb).
Reagan was a politician who happened to be an actor beforehand. In actual terms, he was a standard Republican with actual policy ideas that he campaigned, particularly in terms of the economy - which was deemed 'Reaganomics'.
The comparison between him and Trump ends at the word "celebrity" really.
As for how bad Trump will be - he won't be a lame duck unfortunately. The Republicans have full control - it's like having an overwhelming majority in the House of Commons here, and no Lords to bother with. The Republicans will jump on board with Trump now due to how decisive his win was.
It will be bad as feared, especially in terms of his big promises which will now certainly be delivered in my view - the wall, for example.
