Ran himself into the ground and I was howling for him to be subbed 20 minutes before the end. If he could add goal scoring to his repertoire we would have a top player.
Who were you bringing on for him with 20 mins to go out of curiosity?

Hate to say it macca, but since that derby game when he was up against dik van dijk he has come on leaps and bounds and taken a lot of confidence from his performance that day.
Strikers are there to score ultimately. Thats what they're employed to do.
Sounds harsh, but in a decent Everton team he'll be on the bench waiting to come on and chase down balls when we're defending a lead.
That's where we have to be as a club.
It's a bit hard when he's doing all the work as a solo striker. That is the thing Joey....players have to be in the position to have a chance many a time. I am sure DCL will carry on progressing to enable himself to be in the right places at the right time.

The thing is though since he has been played at no 9 he and the team looks so balanced!
Our last one was conference standard and was not cheap.......We need a striker summer and then he can learn more also
Just going to post the same thing.Good interview with him on motd2. Such a likeable guy with a great attitude, why would you want him to not succeed for us?
He's a bit more than that - think of Sharpy at that age......He's a trier. You cant knock that.
Sharp was mobile like DCL, but he was much more of a predator than him. He's a bit more than that - think of Sharpy at that age......
