Im not generalising anyone prawn sandwich brigade refers to people who have no passion about football and go simply like they would do to the cinema. For most people who go the game (and like it or not it is a working class sport) football has a lot of passion and people will swear, be crude, drink etc. as that's the atmosphere of the sport, same way if you went to watch Wimbledon its a totally different situation and the crowd would act/behave differently.

But people cant moan that football is now being tailored to the up market made in Chelsea yuppie types, yet moan when a few of the lads swear and talk about cocks as that's what happens.

Personally I don't think it needs to happen.

Once again you repeat your crass generalisations - making excuses for the bad behaviour of some (and, incidentally, attributing it to the working class) as an inevitable occurance.

Why cant we have football where it is suitable for everyone?
 
Oh and if people don't want their kids exposed to foul language and subjects that's absolutely fair enough so stick them in the family enclosure as that's what its there for. I'd make it a families only section where by you can only sit there if you have a kid with you and the stewards can play closer attention to what's being said. Kind of like a creche but it would solve the problem. Places like the street or bullens shouldn't be places where people have to worry about upsetting a child or parent with foul language. Obviously there is a line but you know what I mean.

I know what your saying mate and agree with nik if they could make a family only section with heavy monitoring then I would fully support it as like I said ive got an 8 month old but I wont be taking her to the games until she's old enough to understand if certain things are chanted/said. Im the worst for language the Newcastle game this season I needed an ice bath afterwards lol

that is the case with the f.e. there's also no ale served.

My kids get exposed to language and banter and the hurly burly of aways etc. that's not my point. I also have no qualms about lobbing it at the opposition, but I'm sure my daughter doesn't want to hear some of the stuff she hears and it's the fact that those doing it don't consider who is around them, like the fella hitting the C in every sentence with an arl lady directly in front of him.
Morals is the word I think, would you for example if I met you in a st with your mother want me to regale you with a tale about a 'conquest' in graphic detail ? or even if she were within earshot ?

Erm.... i sit in the family enclosure, and i dont have kids.

i sit there cos i use to chant and shout and come away with headaches

In the family enclosure i now just watch and chat about cliff richard...
