Some other sources say loan fee is per year, so it could come down to (1.5mil + 2mil) * 2 = 7 million for Everton.

By the way, both Talisca and Aboubakar received their wages from Besiktas with their loan deals, and their clubs were paid an extra loan fee. Talisca's loan was in 2 year term and Benfica received 2 million per year.

And please, keep in mind that Turkish media goes nuts in every transfer window, spreading fake news to keep people reading. Take every news with a big grain of salt.

Theres every chance like, I mean its strange that hes talking about wanting to stay and fight for his place, then stories linking him away.

Give him a chance to prove himself, he’s a good player. We all moan about our midfielders being negative and passing backwards etc...all Klassen wants to do is pass forward and attack and we moan he’s too lightweight etc....

He will be a big player for us if we give him some faith.

There's no chance in he'll that they'll pay €20 million after a 2 year loan deal.

Klaassen's biggest problem since coming here is that he has only played under absolutely abysmal managers that haven't been able to manage anything to do with the entire team positively, professionally and competently. Have a feeling he could be a completely different player under Silva and Brands if he is given the chance.

We are desperate, we are trying to sell roughly 18 players in 2months and then try and buy some, time is not on our side, take the deal and move on to the next is the sensible option, otherwise August 9th rolls around and we still have 38 players and havent improved the squad.

I'm disinclined to take it as indicating Marcel's absolute stance. Maybe he's encouraging Davy to stay / Silva to play him. Or maybe he's saying good things to 'sell' him in a crowded market...

Nah. His biggest problem is that he’s not suited for the league. Pace/strength is too much for him. Get rid now while he’s still young enough and has his old Ajax reputation with him.
