Besiktas loaned Aboubakar from Porto and Talisca from Benfica, both had little time in their own teams and got loads of time at Besiktas. Both deals went smoothly and can go as well for Everton if they bother to read the contracts they sign. Don't know about that infamous Yobo deal, but I doubt Besiktas, having an idea to sell players to pay off debt, would dare to do some shady business against a Premier League team. Having an easy couple of millions would result in losing tens.
If Everton thinks Klaassen will be useful, he should definetely stay. Otherwise, having a player actually taking time and raising his value again looks like the best option. Besiktas might not be able to buy him in the end of the loan contract but Klaassen playing full season would be an easy sell for Everton for a 10 million minimum.

Far far too early in the window to be biting the hands off a Turkish club that only want to loan the player. There’s certain to be interest, and from clubs that will actually pay money for him.
Keep cool, see what offers materialise and if nothing is forthcoming, there’s always the option to then loan him late in the window.

We signed Klaassen for £24m and, having had a stinker of a season, his value will have dropped significantly. That gives Besiktas or any other team a strong negotiating position in terms of setting a price for the option to buy (although they probably don't want to commit themselves - but if they did, they would want it low).
However, he's only 25 and we have him on a deal until he's 30 years old. If he has a good loan spell, we could potentially recover a decent part of the initial outlay (if his value rises again).
Yes, in an ideal world, we agree a 12 month loan with a £20m buy-out at the end, but who is going to agree to that? I think we need to be a bit patient - if we can get a team to cover his wages and keep an eye on his progress, it might not be a terrible shout.

We need to offload a LOT of players, so we can buy new 1s, the sooner we bin off the 1s we dont want, the sooner we can start getting in the 1s we want.
If we wait we might get a better offer, but then so might some of our targets.
I honestly dont see what the issue is, we have struck a deal to "get rid" of a player we dont want, lets get it done and move on to the next 1, another 17 to go.

The window has been open what, a fortnight? I know we have to trim the squad that’s obvious to everybody, but loaning a player who could attract some decent monetary bids this early in the window seems pretty desperate to me. If we do agree to a loan in the next few days then to me that says things are worse than I thought!
