Unsworth would be a much safer bet than Tuchel, that's for sure. Don't see any harm in giving him the job. He's proven he can forge a good team spirit and get consistent results with a changeable team.

As glamorous as someone like Ancelotti would be, he'd only be 3 bad results from "get out of my club you wonky eyebrowed blert". Unsworth all the way.

I wouldn't say an academy manager is a much safer bet than an actual club manager.

Agreed. Giving Unsworth the job on anything other than a game by game basis would be a gamble of enormous proportions and the odds would not be in our favour either.

I can't see anything but Unsworth being in charge at least for the next few weeks. There's no way we'd have someone lined up already.

Too often managers are employed from within and then they end up losing their job and the job they were doing so well previously. I'm not saying he wouldn't be a success, but Utd risky for both parties.

No problem with whatever decision they make (within reason) employing inexpensive will be a slight risk.

I have to laugh that Unsworth is seen as the 2nd coming of Christ and when he was playing he was hated more than Klassen and Sandro put together
