Because managing a struggling PL team with a mismatched squad and zero confidence is a little bit different to managing the best team in the world with a squad full of star quality. Practically don't even need to manage them.

The premier league has seen Nottingham Forest, Leeds, Sheffield and Villa all spend money, fail and sink.

You know when Wolves appoint Terry Connor, or when Sunderland appointed Ricky Spragia, or Leicester with Craig Shakespeare and the whole rest of the country know they are going to absolutely bomb.
That's what appointing Unsworth would look like. It's more likely to relegate us than move us significantly forward.
