I personally quite liked him as a player. To be honest, growing up he was a second level hero for me, always took my penalties like he did.

Who did zidane manage before he became Real Madrid manager?

Thing Is mate, zidane was the best of his generation player, worked alongside some top coaches, is surrounded by top coaches now, can call on some of the world's best players in their position and demands respect for his achievements in his career all at the same time.

Unsworth would have a second rate coaching staff, a bloated squad half full of the same player , won only one thing in his career, and has the experience of managing essentially 3 divisions below him.

Unsworth would be a much safer bet than Tuchel, that's for sure. Don't see any harm in giving him the job. He's proven he can forge a good team spirit and get consistent results with a changeable team.

As glamorous as someone like Ancelotti would be, he'd only be 3 bad results from "get out of my club you wonky eyebrowed blert". Unsworth all the way.

Not if we’ve acted like a professional organisation and have already approached and reached agreement with quality manager before dismissing Koeman thus ensuring a swift transition.
