That's another thing we finished one point over last season and that was with stinking up the first half, this season we got knocked out of the cups with a whimper. It's astounding that newly promoted Sunderland have shown so much more ambition than usPrior success at similar size clubs. Trophies won.
Moyes has been at Everton for a cumulative 13 years and we've been to 1 cup final. He's a serial loser.
Sure, but that's not the matter under discussion. The matter under discussion is whether David Moyes is the man to turn us around? His record, and recent performances, suggest not.Doesn‘t help himself but the biggest damage has been done the 13 years pre Moyes
Can I have the 2nd option please Bob?Back him or sack him!
We've been poor in every competition this season. Our only cup fixture win was against Mansfield and we finished exactly where we finished in Dyche's last full season despite having an actual transfer budget and better players. We also ended with a negative goal difference and a defense that looked about as solid as a blancmange. As the backpackers say, same same but different. That's another thing we finished one point over last season and that was with stinking up the first half, this season we got knocked out of the cups with a whimper. It's astounding that newly promoted Sunderland have shown so much more ambition than us
We'll sign a couple of old hands like Soucek in the summer but besides them we'll play the same 11 we saw yesterday. Graham, Dibling, Harrison, Aznou etc... will continue to rot on the bench and in the reserves. If I was them, I would be instructing my agent to find me a new club. Moyes won't play them no matter what. He doesn't care about form, just look at yesterday's selection.Has to play him, he won't get within a Cannons shot of the 1st team
We're not getting the above, so we're getting the downside without the upside. Moyes out.And got them their record prem points total, European football, and a European trophy.
Not his fault the owners didn't rebuild after it.
We'd all be happy with the above
Boyland is a superb reporter, he was just providing the mentality from inside the club , if you read more of his articles, he maintains an objective voice and is pretty critical of moyes at times
1st game next season - away to Lampard's Coventry...you heard it hereTo be honest I would of said the same looking at Sunderland and Leeds this time last year.
