This is the middle ground, sensible opinion that seems to get people on either side raging!!

People really do have short memories....the last 5 years before Moyes was utter terrible....and sooo many of us was almost dreaming of a time with no drama, and for us to start competing in games.

We are 18 months on from utter hell as a fan, and many are already bored.

Who isn’t bored of Moyes’s football
If he had joined us from abroad and we didn’t know much about him, I think a lot maybe me included would be saying, the football ain’t great he’s a bit defensive, but maybe it’s his squad so I’d happily say give him another Summer to buy some players and another season to see if he can kick on and improve the performances.

But we all know after 25yrs of watching this manager, nothing is changing no matter who he buys or how long he stays

Not really. Expectations get re-set all the time. It’s called context. To be beholden to a set of expectations laid out 9 months earlier is not appropriate. In business there will be objectives, a plan and then throughout the financial year there are re-forecasts. There is no reason why, in the current state of the PL we couldn’t at one stage have hoped for a little more.

Yeah that’s not like for like.
If you business starts to perform better than expected you are required to hire to improve delivery.
Football doesn’t work like that. January passed and we lost our best player. And no significant additions.
Expected to keep doing better but tracking back the norm is more likely outcome. Thin squad.
Disapointing yes, but rationally as a business owner you would be stupid the twist now.

Certainly looks like Iraola is making overtures to Everton now, according to Bobble anyway.

Hes on the short list at Chelsea as well with Alonso mate.

Depsite reports he wants a return to Spain he actually wants to stay in the PL as a preference, but two clubs in Spain want him.

Yeah, the best thing for all concerned would’ve been for Dyche to plod on doing the bare minimum (mid table from the previous season) but sadly he wasn’t even good enough to do that and had plunged us back into the thick of a relegation battle. He basically told the owners he was incapable of doing any better than 34 points, and loads on here agreed that it was an impossible task with such awful players.

Also he knew he was on borrowed time as soon as the takeover was complete,so he saw his opportunity to cut and run.

Its not happening.

Moyes is here this summer.

TFG have told him in no uncertain terms that they expect European qualification next season if he's to be retained.

Thats where we're at..I think it will take a drastic change of heart for them to change at this point.

Depending on our profile and if Fabregas is still at Como in a season or so, I'll think TFG will throw the kitchen sink at him.

Spanish fraud what’s he’s doing at Bournemouth is better than anything Moyes ever did at Everton , he also did a fantastic job in Spain with 2 small clubs
