In my experience it's the other way round. A lot of older fans who've seen us at the top are almost content with their lot, they had a great time, they have all their memories, and now see the current state of the club as a sad decline but one that can be explained away and almost seen as just a natural story arc. Younger fans generally tend to be the angrier ones as they've never seen any success at all and they desperately want to. They also are naturally more inclined to see things through a modern lens - people like Moyes are seen as outdated and the whole idea of just aiming for stability is a completely alien concept to them in a world where things happen quickly and change is constant.
