Only if you’re foolish enough to judge signings of players in the short term or if you expect every signing to be a success.Heads should be rolling then

Who's been a success? All but one imo. I do actually like a few of them but the manager obv wasn't onboard with them signing hence the signings have been failures.Only if you’re foolish enough to judge signings of players in the short term or if you expect every signing to be a success.
One of them the Mickey Mouse three handled piss pot cup that you’ve wanted us to forfeit every other season?
Confirmed Signing Post in thread 'Beto'
Dont let him anywhere near that Mickey Mouse cup tomorrow.
That's all we need: some two legged pit pony doing his "chuffin'" knee in. We can do without getting through to the next round for a three handled piss pot.
.Realistic take.jesus christ what an abysmal take.
If we get a points deduction we'll likely need 50 points this season to stay up...last 2 seasons = 39 and 36 points.
But if you think getting through the next round of a three handled cup is more important than preserving players for the biggest fight in Everton's history, be my guest.I wish we were already out of that three-handled nonentity.Definitely got more options up top now...I wouldnt be surprised to see him go with Chermiti & Lewin up top against Villa. It's a three handled piss pot at the end of the day.I can't forgive some of these match selections and substitutions. No major club would value that three handled piss pot. NONE.of course it is dave. your far to predicable
Pretty easily. Moyes sees the players in training every day and is a very experienced coach. He is picking the players he thinks are most in form and most suit the way he wants to play which he thinks is our best chance of picking up points. Not playing players who play badly and having a settled first XI is clearly a good thing. Not sure how any one can argue to the contrary. All of the squad players have been given chances and they haven't impressed. It would be insane to just keep playing them.
No Dave. Not excuses at all. We were poor in both those cup games and I've acknowledged that. That's a massive load of excuses for two terrible cup efforts.

The point I am trying to make is that with the upturn in league performance, attention has been drawn to the cup failures. All I'm saying is that if we'd got some of the draws I mentioned of the teams that have gone deeper in the comps, then even playing poorly we could well have gone on a "cup run". Ultimately only one team will win each of those pots making the cup runs of the others meaningless in the grand scheme of things. City have won the first and we'll see what happens with the FA Cup.
I'll accept that we could've probably fielded a stronger side away at Wolves, but it still really came down to poor performance from the players. As I think is widely accepted, we were down to the bare bones when we faced Sunderland and again played poorly, but only went out on pens.
Would any of those fans that talk of cup runs and taking the cups "seriously" have been satisfied with getting to a semi final of the FA Cup having beaten the likes of Charlton, Hull, Wrexham and Port Vale (for example)? I'm not sure they would really, as only winning it has any real impact for us supporters.
I was deeply annoyed after both cup exits as I'm sure all fans were. Not sure I'm entirely convinced about the "taking it seriously" position though. Now if we'd have gone out to Mansfield and Charlton then that might be a different story.
I think last summers recruitment was slightly haphazard due to certain scouts and talent identifiers not being in position.
Some of which only took up their roles after the season started.
Am expecting to see a more coherent summer of transfer activity.
If we're going into the season still needing a CB RB and a forward someone is getting a dig.
Moyes has got to want a RB to sign one. It’s been reported he’s vetoed the ones Thelwell lined up & those recommended more recently by the committee.![]()
Grealish cost around £23m fee and salary for the seasons. Hardly money well spent and we haven't missed him in the slightest. I like Grealish but not for them numbers. Players costing those numbers should be changing games for us regularly when on the pitch.
They did ok in short periods but have also flopped in other games. No better than the alternatives we have and I don't see how our results would have been better if they had played more. It's a weird argument to be honest when we are in with a sniff of a Champions League place. They don’t have to play the whole game to contribute. Given chances & not impressed
Alcarez Palace
Aznou Sunderland
Rohl Villa
He started against Wolves and got sent off in the last minuteWe missed him in the games we had to break down opponents defenses like Wolves, Leeds or so.

Loves a Kebab, you'd have to say fair play.
