2025/26 David Moyes

but an opinion to not want moyes

giving the whole change of the club

off and on the field
is mental
My opinion is NOT that I dont want Moyes at any cost...get us into Europe and it is a no brainer considering the options. I want to know that this is more than just winning two games on a row, there is no more " square pegs in round holes" for no obvious reasons and that we have a cohesive recruitment system.

In what way?
From 2021/22 to 2023/24, you didn't want Everton to compete for the League Cup, because no major club would care about it, implying you considered Everton to be a major club. Now, despite being better than we were then, you want the manager to want us to compete for the League Cup, apparently because we are now a minor club. You yourself want us to compete for it now, but presumably you still consider us a major club, nixing your previous claim that major clubs shouldn't care about it. You criticise Moyes for not valuing it, but it's not clear whether that's because he doesn't consider us major enough, or he thinks we're too major for it.

It's a mess to be honest, but you'll still attempt to argue it.

Thanks Joey, I don’t think Dave considers the three handled piss pot a major trophy.
I wouldn't call the Mickey Mouse cup a major trophy and I have no problem in us playing a second string team. We lost to Wolves reserves who made 11 changes for that game. However the reason we went out of the FA cup is because we failed to buy a right full back, and failed to integrate our new signings, meaning that when Gueye and N'diaye went to Afcon we had a big hole in the team. Sunderland by the way lost way more players to Afcon than we did. So we basically went out of the cups to Wolves reserves and Sunderland reserves. Moyes likes a small squad which either means sacrificing the cups or accepting you're going to lose games every time there's fixture congestion.

It’s not for winning two games In a row

That’ a contract is getting discussed

You don’t have a clue

My Brother went & claimed he was the best man on the pitch coming on as substitute tremendous pace .... so it was not overblown as you put it ....

In that case, he should write a strongly worded letter to the club, outlining his observations and ask that due consideration be given to him being appointed as the next manager.
