I hope not. It is after said 2 game winning streak that the newspapers are running with this story and people on this site are waxing lyrically over anything Moyes has done, going back to Cahill's debut and West Ham's European adventure, so yes there has been a correlation between this activity and a win against Burnley and Chelsea. As I said, if he gets us into Europe he absolutely deserves a new contract, regardless of what I think of his style of football or how he is handling THIS crop of young players that he played " a role " in signing.

My Brother went & claimed he was the best man on the pitch coming on as substitute tremendous pace .... so it was not overblown as you put it ....

That's a massive exaggeration. He had a bit of energy and won a penalty but also gave the ball away a lot. He didn't do much to suggest he should be playing more regularly.
