2025/26 David Moyes

It's not like Dlbling was an unknown quantity.
He played most of last season in the PL.
Either Moyes screwed up by buying him or Moyes is screwing up by mismanaging him.
When you insist on ditching the DoF model and insist that the buck stops with you, you are ultimately responsible.
Moyes is a conservative coach and will always err on the side of caution.
I'm not surprised a 40m 19year old who isn't an instant hit didn't get a look in all season.
I'm also not surprised he cut Armstrongs loan short before playing him out of position (In Diblings place) then dropping him all together.
I could reconcile myself to this type of management if he didnt constantly contradict himself by continuing to play keane and Tark together despite screw up after screw up. Then again, theyre not kids and will probably push back.
Think the expectation at Southampton was much lower, maybe it's his fee or the move from the South coast that has had some effect in his lack of form but he just hasn't produced yet. Should he have just been thrown in at the deep end to sink or swim? Hopefully next season with a good pre season he'll come good

He should have been given more time than he got and if he still didn't settle, loan him out in January possibly to the south coast if he's homesick.

I'm fine with people mounting a defense for moyes.
He did great when he came in last season
He's worked wonders with Garner
KDH (and Grealish) were excellent signings.
He's brought stability after the most turbulent time in the clubs history

But to constantly argue that he handled Tyler Dibling well is just daft.
I hope he hasn't wrecked the kids career.

Stop using the increase in fans in every argument, it makes absolutely zero sense and doesn't help your case.
Keep it to the obvious frustrations.
It's like reading Moomins posts which contain barely anything but Trophy's and Gruel.

Are you both the same person ?

He can’t reply mate, as he’s had a thread ban for a month 👍

Looking increasingly like Pep is off……

Do we need to get The Moysiah tied down to a long term contract to stave off any Man City approaches?

If he is off and City are looking for a new manager there’ll be a chain reaction and one less good candidate from our pool if we are looking.

E.g if they went for Alonso then Chelsea couldn’t get him and therefore may look to Iraola or Glasner etc.
