It's not about favourites. That makes it sound like he's a school girl. He has players he prefers over others. As every single coach in world football does. You disagree with who picks. Nothing more to it.
But the majority think the same, load have questioned his team selections and especially v Utd and the 4 CB’s v Brighton just to name two. And his negative selections aren’t working at home.

Too many extremes in this thread

There's plenty of reasons why it might make business sense to change him, but I won't bother speculating as right now we don't really know what our owners are thinking

That you don't believe it's a good idea to change, yeah fine, but it would be a perfectly normal everyday occurrence in the world of football if they decided to go with another manager
Like it or not we have a pretty thin squad with some average Prem standard players. Will TFG spend enough to change that? Within financial rules as they stand can they? Which manager would other than for the money take the job? Who would be available? More questions than answers.

You're going on and on and on mate but my opinion (and that's all it is, so I don't know why it bothers you this much) is that the owners won't sack him and it would be moronic to do so. You can either accept my opinion for what its worth or continue to go round and round in circles.
You keep replying to
Me. I’ve given you facts on
Why he could easily be gone this summer. You just keep saying it will moronic to sack him, that’s all
You’ve got.
Let’s leave it there and wait and see what happens

Sure. Plenty of doubts about our attractiveness. But still we would just be guessing as to what the owners, if in the mood for a change, might be able to do

Well the rumour is we may have 200mil
To spend. It’s the premier league mate. Managers will crawl over broken glass to
Manage here. Moyes gets 5mil a year
He didn’t comeback because he
Loved the club

I think you're correct, what the owners will do going forward is the conundrum. Have any of them bothered to come to Bramley Moor on match day? My take on it is that they are looking to grow the commercial side of the club through the stadium and it's potential to regenerate the surrounding area and to stage non football related events, get the team finishing consistently in the top ten, then cash in.

The MOTD analysis was spot on in the sense of hammering the point home twice that Moyes doesn't fancy possession of the ball....which is ok.

People should know their limitations and avoid doing stuff they have no aptitude for - in this instance setting up as an attacking unit....which is why we come unstuck at home.

correct. If we had the personel to play a high possession game why wouldnt we just do it away from home as well. Because we havent. The issue moyes has is 50,000 people at home dont want to see the opposition dominating the ball. He set up against United in a way he would have away. It nearly worked. Grealish was great at home early on in the season. But having no quality overlapping fullbacks was an issue after a while. Teams knew they could shut down that avenue.
Only dewsbury hall has fitted the bill in the recruitment for players who can unlock.
Moyes and the clubs recruitment is a whole different debate.

At least one FB who can get up and down the line and join in with a break and a CF who can make intelligent runs in a counter attack will help Moyes out a lot. I like Grealish a lot, but he slows us down in transition to attack from defence and we could do with drawing a line under him.

Overall we need this manager - if he's to stay as our manager - to stop handing the players mixed signals. Choose the style and stick with it week in week out.

We're a very effective defensive team that has players like KDH and Ndiaye that carry a threat. Stick with that and add to it in the summer.

Agree with all that mate, except the change of manager, objectively if i was TFG id be looking to extend his deal as opposed to getting rid of them.

From their point of view i don't see why they would want to get rid of him, think they would be delighted with him.

Keep the manager but only if he stops the Jekyll and Hyde approach.

I cant see Moyes trying to change hybrid though. He's got the belief he's something more than what he is. I think I heard him hint post match at a change of play for the Burnley game on Tuesday. Why? Burnely are probably better at possessing the ball than Everton are. Just because they're relegated doesn't mean we'll roll them over just like that...as some other PL teams have found in recent games.

He did. Against united. Got slaughtered for playing garner at RB and branthwaite at LB. But it was as competetive as we'd been at home. Funnily enough i thought carrick went similar. Both teams tended to cancel each other out. Was quite boring tbh.
The home crowd will demand the team attack. Rightly so. But it will give the opposition lots of lovely green grass on that big pitch we have at home.
Everton simply need to buy a few more players who can hold and use the ball better.
We've not long gone from from doucoure to dewsbury hall. A huge upgrade. But we need a few more to link it all together.
