2025/26 David Moyes

In the last few years, we were staring down the barrel of relegation. Thinking we were gonna open our new stadium in the Championship.

Moyes got us safe last year, and has given us a stress free first year in Bramley Moore where relegation has not really been on the cards at any point.

He’s clearly got the same problems as Moyes Mk 1 - square pegs in round holes, not starting younger players, delaying subs when it’s clear a change is needed.

Biggest worry for me is it’s very clear that we need fullbacks and a quality striker. I’d trust Moyes to sort the fullback situation, but I’ve got little faith that he’ll sort us a striker. It wasn’t a coincidence that Martinez first season success was down to him bringing Rom in.

Give Moyes another year to progress the rebuild with a couple of decent fullbacks, then think about the next step.

My worry with that is I'm not sure Moyes and our recruitment team are working in harmony. So players coming in may not be Moyes' choice and could possibly end up like Aznou, Dibling and Rohl.

Two legit fullbacks with top flight experience would transform us.

Yet reported consistently that Moyes has the final say...who knows.

Why is it ridiculous, we’ve had some luck away and are out performing our expected points. And away from is
So unpredictable,
We could win 3 ot 4 max next season, look at spurs, and Newcastle this season for home form, while Villa were brilliant at home and untill recently were in the title mix. For how amazing the away form has been it’s only 8 points better than a disastrous home programme.

Success will always be built on
Home form and in American sports owners want a successful home team to keep the fans happy.
Im
Not sure TFG will be impressed With what they are seeing at home
It's ridiculous because you're all desperate to sack a man who has us in the race for Europe.

If Tete is Moyes idea of a full back for us going forward I don't trust Moyes to sort the full back situation out
