2025/26 David Moyes

A new striker isn't going to make any difference imo, that table I posted before shows we are just not good at going forward at all, our entire front 4 just are not doing enough.
I think KDH should be dropped further back and I think the wide players would be helped by being actual wide players and having competent fullbacks behind them .

I agree with your broad point , however I think a striker of quality pretty much naturally improves any side whatever is around them just by the nature of the position .

Like I’ve said I agree with you and I don’t think a striker solves our problems or even comes close but i think it would help , in a world where small margins make a difference.

Its a subjective statement mate.

Hes gotten us to Cup Finals and he won a trophy at his last club. One in opinion the other fact
No point getting to finals when his mentality kicks in and the game is done before a ball is even kicked, we have seen it many times in the PL against the sky 6. The West Ham thing was to be expected, ANY PL club in the Conference League should be winning it and especially one that had spent the money West Ham had.

We went ahead in the cup final mate.

Well i hope we qualify for it this season and win it the next, ill enjoy it. ;)

Its a comment on mentality if we went into loose, we did a bad job of it taking the lead.
No, Its great we took the lead but we did nothing to build on it and as a result lost. I don't remember his pre match comments as being terribly encouraging either that was the point I was trying to make, just moaned about injuries.

We are never going to agree on Moyes mate, so I'm going to leave it there for now ;)

I just don't want everton playing a 3 at the back system every week. I dont think it would work under any manager.
I don't really understand this? What specifically about Everton as a club would make us unable to play 3 at the back? The club itself isn't a sentient being, if we have players who suit 3 at the back it will work just as well as it would at any other club surely?

We don't have the players. I'm not sure we have anyone who would be a good wing back week in week out
