2025/26 David Moyes

Yeah unfortunately, he is as stubborn as everyone says he is (as all managers are as they have to live and die by their own decisions). Thinking back the height of that stubbornness was going to Man Utd and changing their title winning coaching set up to bring in Steve Round and Chris Woods against SAF’s advice so I wouldn’t hold out any hope he will be dancing to the tune of the supporters.

Best all round if he departs in summer. I’d bring Iraola in - think with some astute additions he’d work wonders with the likes of Dibling, Axnou, Grealish (sf he stays) and Ndaiye - we’d get a far more entertaining team.

Full backs?
Best centre half at centre half?
Young players?
2 up top?
Patterns of play?
Set piece practice?

Seriously lads, somebody needs to have a word.
Moyes masterpiece, play our top players out of position :rant::rant::rant:

Considering that we’re in the first season of a major squad rebuild along with playing our first season in the new stadium (not to mention having injury problems and players missing for large chunks of the season), mid-table is about right. The owners have said multiple times that the progress will be gradual and there are areas of the squad that we need to improve in the summer but it’s not going too differently to what I expected this season.

I think 50 points should be the target from here, less than that would be a bit disappointing as it would be similar totals to the last 2 seasons.
That would be a disapponting season….we finished last season with 48 and with half a season of Dyche.

A strange manager that rarely has ever played very good football but will more than likely get you enough points at a mid table club to finish top half and in European contention. It's tricky because he always leaves you feeling that you want more from the team and that to move forward as a club changes need to be made.

The few good players we have will have no interest in staying for a slow 5 year rebuild. We need to be aiming to qualify for Europe next season.

Its opportunity also.

The league is a bit crap. You string 3 wins together you're in the top 7.

Its about challenging and having a go when the opportunity is there which we're not doing at home.

Battered by Brentford
Lucky to get a point vs Leeds
Red cards vs Wolves and Bournemouth when in control.
Pragmatism vs United last night.

2 points from the last 15 available at home is scandalous.

Completely undermined a decent atmosphere in the ground last night with absolutely abysmal team selection.

Starting to get a bit fed up now with his supposedly clever second guessing of the oppo by cramming as many square pegs in round holes as possible.

It's abundantly obvious to anyone with a rudimentary understanding of the game".

1) Play a ******* right back at right back.

2) Gana needs to be used more sparingly he's goosed after AFCON and so off it.

3) KDH is not a ten. Play him deeper next to Garner.

4) Tarkowski and Keane is a toxic combination. The former should now be being phased out to third choice the latter 4th. JOB and Branthwaite should be first choice.

5) None of this playing centre mids out wide to block a wing off, especially when our full backs aren't the best anyway to overlap.

George, N'diaye and Dibling only from now on.

How a supposedly experienced PL manager can see it I don't know.

I feel for the players that do put a shift into be fair. Moyes mentioned it last night. Everytime we go behind we know, it’s likely we will lose (yes I know we have equalised and came from behind to win) but it must be confidence draining. Players need to have confidence in each other but given our ability on the ball in an attacking sense, you can see they don’t.

Iraola in the summer for me. Agree with him now to take without announcing it so he can start to think about the challenges. He can finish the season at Bournemouth.
