Pope wonder save v leicester cones to mind though tbf Dyche had only the end of that season
Fair enough
Yea trueThat's football though mate.
Every title win, every trophy you can talk what ifs.
Other teams got results that were fortunate too.
Ultimately we earned the points we did over a full season. I don't see that as relying on a huge amount of luck, we'd have been desperately unlucky to be relegated with the points total we earned.
Yup. Only home game you can honestly say we really deserved to win. Agreed. Just wish there were a few more.Easy answer. Hammering Dyche's Nottingham Forest 3-0.

Quite a few forum posters swear that Moyes has the final say in every transfer transaction. Aznou and Dibling then are real head scratchers.Well I think it's fairly obvious Moyes doesn't think he can defend. Not sure it's clever management if Moyes signed off the signing of Aznou knowing his limitations and thus not playing him because of those limitations. If Aznou was bought for the under 21s then sure give him time to improve his limitations but you don't buy an ambitious player from Bayern Munich who has been capped by his country let us not forget with the intention of not seeing him as first team capable. So either Moyes has done a Kroldrup with him or he's being too cautious with him. Either way with Mykolenko not exactly playing brilliantly himself it's left us with a big issue at left back compounded by Moyes squeezing round pegs into square holes playing Coleman ahead of him against Wolves in the league cup, Garner at left back against Brighton (home) and Branthwaite against Brighton (away)
I wouldn't mind seeing that record..Would be very suprised he’d have been in the slightest bit interested in leaving Bayern to come Everton so he can be sent on loan to PNE or similar.
He’s must spewing, it’s on record Bayern had first team plans for him this season, but oh no, he’s not good enough for us - and that game changing get out of jail cameo v sunderland was just an anomaly.
Sorry, all these games are very long agoFulham..
We started off well but our home form in recent months has been horrendous. Hopefully we can somehow rekindle the early enthusiasm.Again though, considering the context of the debate;
To talk up mitigation that we had to replace all these players misses the point - especially when we could have kept any we wanted.
It was a positive, not a negative - there isn't a single player we let go, who we wouldn't have needed to sign an improvement on.
Why is it mitigation?
Because that was the whole debate/context which you waded in. Seemingly completely ignorant - you often treat posts standalone without comprehension.
And Im not criticising him for letting them players go am I? The opposite. Im saying the players we lost aren't missed, nor were they big factors in the summer because the players who might have got a game - just 2, needed replacing anyway.
we miss doucs….
i mean i do i do
I'd rather have Dewsbury-Hall, Armstrong and Alcaraz in that role now than 33-year-old Doucoure.
Doucoure was handy in an awful team for box-to-box/just an engine, but there is a reason his football CV is what it is, and why he's at Neom now.
And again, we could have kept Doucoure, we chose not to exercise the extra year we had the option on.
