Well I think it's fairly obvious Moyes doesn't think he can defend. Not sure it's clever management if Moyes signed off the signing of Aznou knowing his limitations and thus not playing him because of those limitations. If Aznou was bought for the under 21s then sure give him time to improve his limitations but you don't buy an ambitious player from Bayern Munich who has been capped by his country let us not forget with the intention of not seeing him as first team capable. So either Moyes has done a Kroldrup with him or he's being too cautious with him. Either way with Mykolenko not exactly playing brilliantly himself it's left us with a big issue at left back compounded by Moyes squeezing round pegs into square holes playing Coleman ahead of him against Wolves in the league cup, Garner at left back against Brighton (home) and Branthwaite against Brighton (away)

12th ish with young players is fine.
Otherwise 8th at least and europe.
The key is to develop the young players and build a squad.
Archie Gray at Spurs could be another Gary Neville if played at RB, as he was at Leeds.
All sorts of different types of them.
With Moyes, has he ever signed a good one apart from Baines? Coleman of course wouldnt have been his signing.

To be fair Davek has got a point. The league isn't great and we need to get out of the mindset of because we've been so bad the last few seasons we can't expect to be ambitious going forward. I think we've got enough quality to qualify for Europe as I don't see anyone in and around us playing at a level we can't at least match. So if we finish 12th it would be a failure in my opinion

If spending 110mil is nothing these days and doesn't guarantee you entertaining football nevermind a top half, do we have to give Dyche more credit for his achievements with less?
No because Moyes also lost a fair few players that were 1st choice
And if you think Dyche and entertaining football belong in the same sentence I don't know what to say to you

We play rubbish football for the most part and we're not pushing on and taking chances that get you top half for sure at the end of the season.
For sure I'd sack him if we dont get top half. We weren't far off that under Dyche in the points deducted season if the 8 points had been added back in to where they should never have been taken out of.
The only thing that would ever have me saying Moyes is worth having back is if we get European football next season.

Because it is in the context of negative net spends for years. And the wages that went with those fees were high.
He's had a good transfer chest since being here and he better at a minimum get top ten.
A certain CM that saved our seat in the Premier league.
The vast majority on here hated him and wanted rid of him.
Were still playing premiership football because of him, I couldn't care less how many people disliked him.
He has credit in his bank for me for being their when needed most.
If people can't give him that, than sad on them..
