Who would you rather have in charge for the next 18months, Ancelotti or Moyes? No he didn’t, Carlo never inherited a relegation team, Moyes did twice. Not even a contest who done the better job at Everton.

It's not though. It's what you're all advocating for. Sacking our current manager and rolling the dice on an unknown on the hopes he does better than Moyes because you all believe Moyes has a ceiling he won't get past.
There's absolutely no guarantee the next manager will do any better.
Moyes isn't just a "comfort blanket" though is he? Yes actually improved us in the 12 months he's been here and loads of you still want to sack him and gamble because of your hang ups from his first period here.
There's fair criticism to be levelled over the cup exits but from a results perspective he's been doing alright and we are in good shape to kick on and keep progressing.
Definitely none of that around these partsWest ham fans have delusions of grandeur. Their opinions are worthless.

95% of football managers are worse than Moyes, so the odds are not stacked in favour of success.
Heck, if you even look at flavour of the month picks, which of them did a better job than Moyes did at West Ham?

As a fanbase we love looking backwards, it's maddening.Neither
Well, to completely go against my own point and consider things purely in terms of numbers, isn't the top 5% of 20 teams in the Premier League equal to 1? I've had a coupla drinks tonight so my arithmet.....arythma.....maths might be a bit off, but aspirations to have, say, the 1st or 2nd best manager in the league at this point in our development might be more delusionalthan ambitious.I’ve thought about it and my judgement is Moyes, by any metric (other than games managed), is not in the top 5% of EPL managers who’ve managed at least a seasons worth of games.
It is Windy. Same with the calls to bring Richarlison backAs a fanbase we love looking backwards, it's maddening.
West Ham did had him back… and had their best spell since the early 1980s.Which clubs fans would have Moyes back. Not even West Ham’s despite their paralous position. Moyes /Kenright did a great job on managing our aspirations. Good times & be grateful![]()
So, who are the other 25, and what clubs did they manage? Percentages alone do not provide full context. Indeed, Moyes early win percentage would have been handicapped by the fact he had a terrible squad.82 managers have managed over 100 games in the premier league.
Moyes ranks 26th, so outside the top 30%.
