I'm no statto, but wasn't The Great God Carlo's win ratio only slightly above that of Moyes, and Ancelotti didn't inherit the shambolic bunch of demoralised and/or garbage players that Moyes did twice. I'm not saying that this proves anything, but just that some thought and judgement are needed in addition to simple numbers.Well there’s only 80-100 managers have been in charge of 100 or more EPL games, guess who's win % doesn’t put him in the top 15%?
Answers on a post card to;
DAVID MOYES
They've chased how many managers
And spent how much it's BS that they wouldn't have moyes now and being stable
Not on the evidence from the last game...and many others I've seen over 20+ yrs, were people have said - if only we played like that from the start.
1st Half, Moyes sends the 11 out in full of cautiousness, and it was dire.
2nd Half. with the same 11! Moyes then send's them out with the hand brake off and we play miles better.
When it comes to over cautious 1st halves like last weeks Moyes is the problem
I’ve thought about it and my judgement is Moyes, by any metric (other than games managed), is not in the top 5% of EPL managers who’ve managed at least a seasons worth of games.I'm no statto, but wasn't The Great God Carlo's win ratio only slightly above that of Moyes, and Ancelotti didn't inherit the shambolic bunch of demoralised and/or garbage players that Moyes did twice. You for got the ‘per season’ bit.Ive got a theory that hes only got about 55 minutes of attack in his game plan
Moyes wasted most of the money he spent
To better gauge Moyes’ standing among West Ham fans, The Athleticconducted a survey of the club’s supporters — with more than 3,000 responding. Here are the results.
Of the fans surveyed, 75.2 per cent believe Moyes should not be given a contract extension, 11.6 per cent believe he deserves a new deal, and 13.2 per cent are undecided.
“and be careful what you wish for”
bet you now they would
Yes they blame therye boardWHU fans blame their Board. Haven’t seen anything indicating that they wished they’d kept him or that they want him back.
I’m not seeing any clubs harbouring any ambition to recruit our manager either, a surprise given how well thought of he is by some on here.
Perhaps we are the only fan base to appreciate his qualities.

Yeah that’s all I’m saying, I’m not trying to be awkward just saying it’s impossible to answer a question without knowing what the question actually is! Would a manager get patience here if we were boring to watch and finishing 10th every year, probably not. Would they get patience if we were qualifying for the CL, yes. That’s why I said in the first place there needs to be context, the answer depends on what the question is.
No he didn’t, Carlo never inherited a relegation team, Moyes did twice. Not even a contest who done the better job at Everton.I'm no statto, but wasn't The Great God Carlo's win ratio only slightly above that of Moyes, and Ancelotti didn't inherit the shambolic bunch of demoralised and/or garbage players that Moyes did twice.
