My thoughts are similar. A couple of seasons of stability and look for the right manager to take us forward. Any manager who comes in will benefit from this Moyes period. Taking us away from relegation and safely mid - upper table. We're developing a nice young squad too. It has to be the right person to take it on though, it's far from an easy job.….as a Moyes supporter, I think that’s very fair. Not forgetting where we were when he was brought in, I’ve always thought his current contract is ideal to get us that stability and lay firm foundations for his successor. Of course, finding the right successor is the real difficulty, I think we can only guess on who could take us to the next level.
Next summer will be interesting in respect of transfers but I’d be sure Moyes will at least see out his current deal unless we find ourselves in a relegation battle.
Why rush the decision though, Moyes isn't looking elsewhere..Id give him another 3 year contract extension at the end of the season personally.
Get back under your no ambition kenwtight happy to survive rock. You tit. We bottled it first leg full stop, like Moyes bottled 90% of big gameswe lost on pens to them you nugget
PENS isn’t bottling it

Villa have done it , Forest nearly done it last season. We’re going to spend again and most likely more than last summer. We’ve seen how average the league is.He has already took us the the “next” level. If you mean getting us to European / conference football I think Moyes I probably the best bet. If you thinking about a manager to take us to the top four, then I agree… but it’s unlikely any manager will do that with our budget and the level competition in premier league.
Not on the evidence from the last game...and many others I've seen over 20+ yrs, were people have said - if only we played like that from the start.Nothing to do with the players on the pitch!

We could be his final swansong..

Clubs aren’t falling over themselves to employ Moyes which is a surprise given how highly some people on here rate him.
Even West Ham fans don’t want him back despite their position.

Where are they now? Portsmouth went down to league two at one point, leicester championship minus 6.
I didn’t want Moyes back and I’ve never hid from that, we all knew what was going to happen, yes he’d get us around mid table, but the football would be terrible and if rather stick pins in my eyes than watch much more of it. And the game has moved on from last time he was here and he’s up against a lot more teams with money.Id be delighted with Moyes gone at any stage between now and summer (assuming it's done with a proper plan in mind
However I have to say the argument for not continuing with Moyes are already pretty clear and I'm pretty sure the most pro-Moyes fans will know them already.
So when I'm reading your posts which sometimes come off as unnecessarily ranting and raving over every detail about Moyes, forgive me if I suspect you'd be analysing and complaining by Xmas if any new manager didn't start the season well or picked teams you didn't agree with.
With these kinds of posts you don't seem at all like you are ready to give any manager a couple of years to build something, whether they are the Prince of % Football or whoever the club chooses next
In short you give the anti-Moyes crew a bad name!
