Expecting to be beat a bottom of the league team , who points wise are one of the worst ever at this point isn’t entitlement come of it
That is why I did not want him back here, he done well after taking over from Dyche but has slipped back into his old negative / dithering tactics. The last 3 home matches have been torture, absolutely crap. He’s too negative, and safety first, resulting in some of the worst home performances and defeats in any season.
Joe Thomas a year last November was still singing dyche’s praises. And talking about a new deal and leading us into BMD. Last march time he was talking on an echo pod about seeing If we can do cheaper deals from lindstrom and Jack Harrison from Napoli and Leeds and Keeping doucoure. The echo have had some of most unambitious journalists over the years. But Joe Thomas is the champion of worldStill amused at Joe Thomas at the Echo describing the season so far as a ‘success’.
Spurs are 2 points behind us, still in the Champions league, and the fans are in open revolt, demanding change, even though they’ve just bought a £35 million player.
There was a time we had higher aspirations than Spurs.
Tbh it wasnt so much about Moyes. Its this slight entitlement some have. Firstly we're not good enough to have any form of entitlement. I think some already bookmarked brentford and wolves at home as 6 points before we even kicked a ball. For what reason, because they're called brentford and wolves? Snobbery? I dunno. But it just doesnt work like that.
Have you seen our fullbacks and strikers. wtf have we got to be entitled about.
People say this now but also spent previous seasons saying how embarrassing it was we didn’t beat Luton or Southampton or Ipswich or whoever else we ‘should’ have beaten.
If we play well we can give anyone a game, if we don’t anyone can easily embarrass us home or away, it was the same in previous seasons under multiple managers and it’s the same this season.
It’s almost like some massive lightbulb has switched on this season for some ‘oh hang on, these players that people kept saying were rubbish under previous managers, you know what lads, I think they might be rubbish you know’
Long time ago that was I'm afraidStill amused at Joe Thomas at the Echo describing the season so far as a ‘success’.

I got chided for having the expectation that we should beat wolves even with a depleted squad , so it's not champions League that is even supposedly beyond our reachNo I expected top 10 and to have a serious go at both cups
That's a more than realistic expectation this year and we aren't meeting expectation
I've no idea why people bring up title challenges or champions league every time we criticise the current form or our progression this year, or the lack of ambition from the club.
Given what we spent last summer we should be miles better than what we are. That's my main criticism.
Typical of the echo the last few miserable decades,"know your place Evertonians"Still amused at Joe Thomas at the Echo describing the season so far as a ‘success’.

We already know because we already have them.
We beat them like every other team under pereira earlier in the season. Arsenal are 7 points clear at the top and beat them with a 94th min OG a few weeks ago. They're bottom because they picked up 2 points or something out of 33 under the previous manager. To easy to just say they are bottom team. Circumstances have changed and they're not a given now. Bit like Villa couldnt buy a point or goal at the start of the season. Not playing the same Villa today
The reason why is we’ve been missing our 4/5 best outfield players. The team we’re putting out at the moment is relegation standard or not far off it. Not saying we’ll be amazing every game when they come back next week but things should start to look a lot better than they do now. That is why I did not want him back here, he done well after taking over from Dyche but has slipped back into his old negative / dithering tactics.
