Phil Neville:

FA Premier League (6): 1995–96, 1996–97, 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03
FA Cup (3): 1995–96, 1998–99, 2003–04
FA Community Shield (3): 1996, 1997, 2003
UEFA Champions League (1): 1998–99
Intercontinental Cup (1): 1999

Ha :) knew that would be the reply from somebody.

the fact is though that Carrick has been the mainstay in a very succesful Man U side over a number of years.

Arteta has played for Sociedad, Rangers, Everton and Arsenal and won diddly squat.

And yes, I am aware that Djimi Traore has a CL winners medal before anyone asks.

Fair enough mate. Don't massively rate Carrick myself and think most Man Utd fans would tell you CM is an issue for them (or definitely will be when Scholes re-retires).

United fans are split on Carrick, some love him, some hate him.

I would be more inclined to agree with the Best manager in English Footbal history.

United problem is who plays WITH Carrick, not instead of him.

Arteta did NOTHING in the big games for us, and seemed to go missing when we really needed him.

He had his position switched many times, due to being not good enough at certain times / Games passing him by.

If you look at his record, he missed alot of games for us. I think he played on average 25 games a season.

doesnt change the fact he was a passenger for all of those medals.
