David Moyes says Everton will not sell in order to buy in January

It's out of our control and we just have to get on with it, we're competing for a Champions League place regardless aren't we?

its not out of our control, if enough fans did the right kind of action, we could rid ourselves of the liars which run the club.

p.s. lets not go down this road again with another 'bill is a liar because...' thread. its been proven time and time again.

I think we should sell him if we get an offer of £35m+, which is possible considering Modric went for £32m when personally I don't rate him at all. I love Fellaini as much as anyone but he's a massive luxury for us, and to us isn't worth the £35m - we could get 3 or 4 classy players for that kind of money. I think in January we need the depth in quality more than we need one world class player otherwise we could never realistically keep up in the top 4.

Assuming we have a couple of million budget at the moment, and with some budget left for wages (especially the 80k a week from Fellaini), we should look at the likes of Benat who would cost around £15m - a couple of players his standard would make us much more likely top 4 candidates.

All depends who actually wants Fellaini, as to what we will get for him.

Can't remember who but one of the more ITK people, could've been sheeds, said that they're starting to get a lot of serious interest in him - and surely anyone who has contacted the club would know the kind of fee that would be required to buy him.

If its United and Arsenal, and maybe an Inter or AC Milan, then the price will be lower, or the deal want be as good IMO. They will throw players in the deal.

Chealse, City, Real, PSG etc, got to be looking at a bigger fee surely.

I think any figures would be speculation as we arent prepared to negotiate at the minute but there is serious interest from at least one English club (who aren't short of a few quid) The figures will change but I think we manage to be over and under ambitious in the same threads . There is no clause and we'd be looking at a decent profit I think .

I think we'll get between 15-20m.

Not even joking.

The one specific thing that this board and management team have got right recently is makiing sure the better players don't leave on the cheap.

24 m for Lescott and 14m for Rodwell are the 2 that I am going to use to back that statement up.

I am very sure that Fellaini will leave at the price that is right for Everton.

£10m for Arteta ?
£1.5m for Yakubu ?

Yep, I would say they were fair prices, maybe a bit more for Yakubu at a push.

Yakubu obviously had a golden spell at Blackburn but as a top class striker he was finished.

Arteta was a steady, once paced midfielder who's dead balls are a complete myth.

Arteta - 1st choice centre midfielder in a champions league team ?
Yakubu - younger than crouch and a better goalscoring record than crouch - spurs got £10m for crouch
