David Moyes rules out any January transfer

There'll be a loan deal, I reckon. From the sounds of it, it'll probably just be the one. It's a shame, I thought we might even spend a few quid. I suppose a winger in on loan and Barkley back would do me.

Maybe one of the reasons behind this is an intention to bring Barkley back in January.

I wouldnt bring Barkley back unless we really had to tbh. A full season playing 90mins in the Championship will do him the world of good.

Aye probably the worst manager ever that bloke. I know we're 4th but still.. telling people they should aim for 40points as early as possible and see where we can get from there.. what a c**t.
Put him in the wicker man and set him alight peeps.. He'll see us ruined with his extended unbeaten runs and quality cheap buys.. What a b****d.. Wish we had Walker back at least he never bought us players like Mirallas with no money ffs.

Won [Poor language removed] all though, results business this game mate, no time for sentiments.

You'd probably do a better job than Mike Walker so that comparison is null and void too, it wouldn't be hard.

No time for logic & perspective either in your world it would appear.

Yeah sack him lad, if he'd have won the Mickey Mouse he'd be sound like, but because he's not delivered a pot he's useless.

We have one proven striker.
We have one proper wide right player (Pienaar on the left)
We have a central midfield that consists of a right back and an attacking mid
We have a goalkeeper who is out of form

How people say our squad is okay is beyond me, we really need another CM in January minimum.

Gibson got injured and we pretty much went into meltdown.

If Ossie had picked up a knock we were well and truly finished.

That's how light we are in the middle...

However, we don't have any money left, this much is true. We have, at most, anywhere between £1m to £3m from the Rodwell sale, depending on what figure you believe he went for.

People forget we paid a fee for Pienaar early in the summer. We all but broke even with our business and we all know Kenwright hasn't invested so much as a fart into the club.

I think we'll bring in a loan.

Where did you get this utter fiction??? No offence but a pet peeve of mine is incorrect transfer fees.

Transfermarkt.

The Oviedo fee is completely wrong obviously. But even if you say Pienaar £4.5m, Mirallas £6.5m and Oviedo £2m, that's £13m and Rodwell went for around £13-15m.

Ah so everyone who hasn't won things is ****e.. fair enough.

+ signing on fees which are not insignificant. However there should still be money from the various other sales.

Wasn't Mirallas more like £5.3m? He had a release clause or something and Oviedo was £1m max, I'm certain.

Nah, just managers at the fifth best club in the country whilst other worse managers and teams have.
He should have won something, he definitely should have come closer in his 10 years than he has. Two semis and a final is pretty gash considering the quality of the team he had/has and other worse teams with similar records.
If he can stop his teams crashing out pretty much every year to inferior teams it will be a start.
