Daily Mail rag puts the boot into Martinez, the night before the derby

True mate ...we all know everythings not hunky doory.
But that article on the eve of a Derby is no less than rubbish.
What I do know is Etoo would cause an arguement in a phone box and Martinez & Distin have not got on from day one.
Boy I hope we turn that lot overr tomorow and look forward to see the likes of Lawton backtracking on Sunday.

Distin everyone knows I don't want at the club.

There is a reason for this

That Sky advert is nauseating to us Blues. However it has to be remembered that what they are trying to do is get the highest possible viewing audience for the game, therefore the Gerrard v Everton line (can he get one over them in his last derby) is the one they are going to use to promote the effing thing. Libberpewl more media friendly than us ? Better get used to it for a while yet until we win stuff.

There will probably be equal cause to accuse them of this during the game. Especially if Tyler is commentating and Slipper scores. It will be unfathomable in fact.

But does it equate to an agenda to conspire towards us losing ? Don't think so. That sort of stuff belongs in RAWK.

Considering you're an acknowledged plotter I find your surrender monkey post nauseating.

@davek

I read nowt in that article which our people haven't said on these very pages during the post Wolfsburg slump.

So if our own fans are saying stuff lie that, we can harly accuse outsiders of trying to "de-stabilise" the club.

The thing is, most of it is merely a statement of fact.

We have indeed gone from CL contenders to also rans this season....we have indeed lost key members of the backroom staff....there has indeed been dissension behind the scenes....there are indeed question marks around the fitness of the players....our recent form does indeed resemble that of Wigan during their rekegation struggles.

The best way to put all this behind us is to go out and stuff these buggers later today.

A MINORITY have said things like that.

The pie proved this.

its not a statement of "fact". Its utter horse manure

@davek

Tashjian gave a years notice he was leaving for the U.S. when Moyes was still actually at the club in May 2013! To pin this on Martinez is a joke.

Billows left in summer 2014, after a good season, because he was offered more money by Newcastle. Again, trying to pin this on Martinez is just bollox.

It's made out like losing Eto'o was a loss, when his actions at Sampdoria after just one game have shown him up to be the bad apple that he supposedly was at EFC.

Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic and Samuel Eto'o have settled their differences, according to the club's sporting director Carlo Osti.
i

The two had a disagreement on Monday when Eto'o opted not to turn up for training in the afternoon, angering his boss. Mihajlovic had ordered double training sessions all week in response to a 5-1 Serie A defeat to Torino last weekend -- a game in which the striker made his debut as a substitute.

The former Cameroon international, who joined from Everton during the January transfer window, cited a prior engagement as an excuse not to attend training.

"It was not an argument for the simple reason that it takes two people to argue and he did it all by himself," Mihajlovic told Gazzetta dello Sporton Monday. "I've not seen him since training in the morning, nor have I spoken with him.

"I don't know why he left, nor do I know what the club plans to do about it. The only thing that is certain is that the player did not give me any explanation and I regard that as being seriously disrespectful to me and to the rest of the team."

Re read it.
So much inconsistency in the article. What a load of [Poor language removed].
In my opinion this is definitely placed with the intent of maximum effect before the derby.

My close source to the editor said a family friend of him told him that he heard that a brother of the owner of a company who deliver lunch to the newspaper heard from the a garage worker that services the vans they have on the road that there is strange goings on in the canteen at finch farm in relation to the brand of pasta the players eat. This lead the editor investigation. I also heard from my aunt who lives in Chicago as she has a friend that Googles alot especially in terms of nasa and their satellites that the editor of the newspaper was rumoured to have tried to get a satellite put over the canteen to zoom in on the players reaction to the particular pasta brand. It follows that this might have happened and Distin and eto were rampaging around with cleavers causing quite a stir. What is happening at our club is a embarrassing situation and all the above needs to be sorted pronto. EFC BOYS GONNA TEAR UP SOME WHOPPERS TODAY

The media is a kopite caetel. They all grew up watching 'der gloree days' and found their life aspiration was to do nithing but write about it. In 20 years time it will be exactly the same for United as all the 90/00s kids start dominating. Just don't give them the time of day. Apologies to any sports journalists on here but it really is a very easy job. Write a load of biased subjective opinion ridfled with factual inaccuracies and 'inside sources' and a national newspaper will publish it. Can't write? The echo will gladly take you into their stable of idiots led by Pearce the buffoon.

As I've said, it all probably is.

But we don't know for sure and probably never will.

Some isn't that hard to believe.

You don't think Eto'o was causing issues?
You don't think Distin and him have a bit of trouble?

I'm not so sure.

The bits about the medical staff leaving I don't know about. And I doubt you do either.

So yeah, probably mainly rubbish, it is the Mail after all, but with the season we've had, where things clearly haven't been right at the club, it may be a little naive to think everything is boss as everton right now.

I know for a fact that 2 of the 3 medical staff leaving had nothing to do with Martinez because they both gave interviews explaining their departures. Tashijan himself has written stuff on social media.

As for Eto'o, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and smells like a duck, chances are... It's a duck.

Things might not be boss behind the scenes at Everton but the reasons the Mail gave are flawed and can be proved to be flawed. And again, consider the journo source, a man who has written stuff that has been repeatedly proved incorrect.

You're giving this topic and the paper/journo far more respect than they deserve and saying 'what if they're true, we don't know' is incorrect. We do know.
