Daily Mail rag puts the boot into Martinez, the night before the derby

As I've said, it all probably is.

But we don't know for sure and probably never will.

Some isn't that hard to believe.

You don't think Eto'o was causing issues?
You don't think Distin and him have a bit of trouble?

I'm not so sure.

The bits about the medical staff leaving I don't know about. And I doubt you do either.

So yeah, probably mainly rubbish, it is the Mail after all, but with the season we've had, where things clearly haven't been right at the club, it may be a little naive to think everything is boss as everton right now.
I guess i am playing that a little.

I'm just not naive enough to think everything is perfect.

Martinez being a 'soft touch' for the players doesn't sound that unbelievable does it?
Especially when compared to Moyes.

But we wouldn't know about that. And neither would the moron who decided to write that article.
True mate ...we all know everythings not hunky doory.
But that article on the eve of a Derby is no less than rubbish.
What I do know is Etoo would cause an arguement in a phone box and Martinez & Distin have not got on from day one.
Boy I hope we turn that lot overr tomorow and look forward to see the likes of Lawton backtracking on Sunday.

Tashjian gave a years notice he was leaving for the U.S. when Moyes was still actually at the club in May 2013! To pin this on Martinez is a joke.

Billows left in summer 2014, after a good season, because he was offered more money by Newcastle. Again, trying to pin this on Martinez is just bollox.

It's made out like losing Eto'o was a loss, when his actions at Sampdoria after just one game have shown him up to be the bad apple that he supposedly was at EFC.

That's wrong about Dave Billows.

He left as soon as Bobby come in because Bobby wanted his own man with him.

I know Dave very well and he then spent a year doing nothing (3 days he did with England u18s at Burton excluded) and was going to give it all up and do something else before he got a chance at Newcastle. Moyes said he'd try and get him a job but never did.

There's nothing wrong with bringibg in his own team and Billows was hardly in demand following his release.

That's an unbelievably cheeky article. Just look at first sentence FFS! Spanish ham haha. Proper bad beauts at the Daily mail, we will win tomorrow not even assed. The media + sky can sit on my lanky middle finger. Divvies

There is going to be hell to pay if Gerrard doesn't win tomorrow. It's going to be like JFK not bombing Cuba, the higher ups are going to be dead mad. This was just a warning shot.

So, what you're saying is that I should write this now..

I am fuming. I still can't believe they appointed such a weak referee for Gerrard's Derby - how Mr Taylor could not see that Mirallas was three yards inside the penalty area when Sktrl almost tore his shirt off his back and then cut him in two I will never know - and then, just two minutes later, to allow Sturridge to run clean through on goal for the winner when he was at least 3 yards offside is incredulous. As for the sending-off of Leighton Baines (of course it had to be an important player for us!) for what exactly? I'm fuming, I mean Clattenberg/Atkinson/Thomas proper fuming..
