Some valid points there fella.Well, considering this the highest profile game of our season it is little wonder it is published at a time when it is likely to maximise interest.
Given the turgid nature of Everton's football for most of this season, one can hardly expect owt positive to be written about us on the eve of big games.
There is really very little positive can be written.
That article is mostly bang on and we all know it to be so.
That is why it hurts so much......it is one thing us having our internal debate on here but you know what?
This is how the outside world is viewing events at Goodison these days.
There is no point us getting all precious about it.
Me?
I don't mind truth based articles about EFC even if they are pointing out what is wrong at the club.
Imagine Everton were in decline and the national press couldn't even be bothered writing about it.
We are relevant......that is why national newsoapers write unpalateable truth like that.
And besides, and if I may paraphrase Oscar Wilde, the only thing worse than people writing negative articles about us is nobody writing an article about us at all.
The best thing we can do is go out tomorrow and show the rest of the country that EFC is still very much in business.
COYB.
Most of it is crap tho .
The guy who wrote it is pondering to his pay masters
C'mon that is gutter press all day long.Probably.
But i mean we don't know for sure. None of us do.
It probably is all poop. But what if it isn't?
Any respected journalist could have wrote some of them points before Xmas.
On the eve of Stevie G's derby is just another Slap Down for us.
I really dont know why there is an agenda against us ,these same people want to sell anything good that plays in a blue shirt.
Must have got a little too close to the Sky 4 last season eh.
