Daily Mail rag puts the boot into Martinez, the night before the derby

Typical load of garbage from unnamed 'qualified observers' designed to destabilise the club, the night before the derby.

All fits into the media-designated 'agenda' that tomorrow has nothing to do with Everton.

I read nowt in that article which our people haven't said on these very pages during the post Wolfsburg slump.

So if our own fans are saying stuff lie that, we can harly accuse outsiders of trying to "de-stabilise" the club.

The thing is, most of it is merely a statement of fact.

We have indeed gone from CL contenders to also rans this season....we have indeed lost key members of the backroom staff....there has indeed been dissension behind the scenes....there are indeed question marks around the fitness of the players....our recent form does indeed resemble that of Wigan during their rekegation struggles.

The best way to put all this behind us is to go out and stuff these buggers later today.

There is going to be hell to pay if Gerrard doesn't win tomorrow. It's going to be like JFK not bombing Cuba, the higher ups are going to be dead mad. This was just a warning shot.

Coleman to Man Utd
McCarthy to Spurs
Lukaku a target for Arsenal
Howard to an MLS club
Mirallas to Atletico Madrid
Spurs slap a £20m fee on Lennon's head for a permanent deal.

There you go. I could write the Sunday papers on Friday night, easily.

Indeed.

Could have been published any time in the last 4-6 weeks but wasn't. But was very deliberately published the night before the derby.

Also the whole theme of the article is that staff are bailing on Martinez because they don't like him/his methods, when 2 of the 3 names mentioned never left the club because of anything to do with Martinez. That's the main bone of contention with the article and why it's [Poor language removed], and why it differs from our criticisms.

This isn't just a case of bad newspapers writing disappointing things about Everton and people getting upset about it.

This is agenda-driven mistruths and lies (by a journo with a track record - this is the guy behind the many 'Coleman to <insert club>' stories), timed to cause trouble at an opportune time.

Bloody foreigners, coming in to our country and taking our jobs.

Probably got a 6 bedroom house and £50k a year in benefits too.

Pure [Poor language removed] mate ,disgraceful timing ....imagine the fume when we turn them over

Be arsed. Your giving them what they want tbh. Don't rise to it. Been watching the Sunday ChelCitehLiverunited Supplement for a while now to come to realise Sky, Mirror et al are in this game purely to sell stories, Hence sell papers, We are no longer in the elite (filthy rich) clubs, Therefore are nothing but a nuisance for them. FFS, lets be Bitter and disgraceful tomorrow, Lets win this comfortably !!
