How much do we think they would want for him? If they just want him off the wage bill than maybe just a couple of million. Anything more i wouldnt be interested in.

Can't imagine it would be much, although he has 2 years left on his deal. at 31, whatever you spend, you won't be getting it back. He'd nearly want to be free because the wages will be high enough.

The Zog isn't going to happen. Villa are on a similar level to us, but they actually have the cash and need to replace Young, so unless he chins McCleish during negotiations, I can't see us having a chance.

Yeah prob not though mate, i refuse to give up hope on Everton though ever! I find it weird at rally top CL team havnt been in for him yet, i would have him over the likes of Young and Downing if im honest, the only two players i would prefer here who if we were minted that may be attainable are Hazard and Marin but theres not a chance of that.

Please god let this be only a rumour, a 31 (32 in 5 days) ex-kopite gob s****, who has spent a lot of time on the treatment table and also likes a bit of violence outside of the footie pitch (although getting a golf club to john arne riise was not a bad thing)

sorry a no from me !!

Yeah because we have plenty of players with pace who can play outstanding either upfront or wide , who want to win every week , plus with having a large transfer kitty we can always pick and choose who we want , plus when you've got a player like Louis Saha who plays an puts a shift in 35 games a season , our fans scare me they really do ......... If we get the chance with Bellamy we need to jump at it with both feet every club / team who wins trophys HAS to have a character / characters with a nasty streak I think it's one of the things which we are missing a player with a bit of steel who does more than just point on the pitch who actually opens his mouth , sadly our chairman is not big enough to do a deal like this , that's how poor he is ( inept)

Its NOT a rumour , Lid ..

Its FACT ..

I think at the right price he could be good for us. We all know what his skills are and despite his history you'd all have to agree that he would improve the side with his skill and pace. If he wants regular football back in the prem and it isnt getting it offered to him anywhere else it could be a deal that suits both parties. Maybe just a 1 year contract with a further year on pay as you play? We shouldnt splash out loads on a 32yr old player, but Moyes knows that and will probably try and work out a good deal if he thinks he's a player worth taking a chance on (like Saha)....it'll be interesting to see if we can get him for the right money, at least it's a name that people know and would give the team and fans a lift after a pretty embaressing transfer window so far......I'm not saying we should get him at any price but it could be a player that would give us another dimension. Then all we need is Krancjar, N'Zogbia and Sturridge and we're done! hahaha!! Never gonna happen....
