Mmmm, Northern Italy has some very heavy industry...If there is an immediate positive it's that pollution levels will be dropping.
They'll all go back up at once soon enough like, but still.

Think Leo may be more then happy with another election after this.
Tbh, I said something similar earlier in the thread, and I don't even work in critical care or any such area. Thankfully GOT'ers are a good bunch, and even those of a tory persuasion could see I was being honest. Thanks for posting this goat, and I don't care how many of the 'don't make it political' beauts it offends. The incredible levels of arrogance and disregard for human life from this government and their advisors should not be forgotten for a second
You any idea on what sort of dosage they're looking at in trials mate ?
I can remember taking chloroquine phosphate weekly ( 500mg I think ? ) some time ago when the mossies in the part of the world I was in weren't resistant to it, so I was a bit surprised when I read about the overdosing. From memory, 1g could give you problems, but you had to take 1.5g or more before it got really serious ?
Certainly feels like the game plan at the moment. Argueably not a foot wrong since this epidemic kicked off in earnest (and I am NOT a fan)
If he had the power to get rid of Eoghan Murphy (I dont think he can) and change housing up now, it would make one hell off a difference for a second election

That'll be the update of the update then.
Law of small numbers makes it hard to read too much into anything, but every day we seem to be 5 days / 4 times behind the UK204 new cases, 1 death in the ROI today, 1329 in total.
SF seems to have vanished off the face of the earth during this crisisThink Leo may be more then happy with another election after this.

My hospital department has such a limited supply of the proper, fitted facemasks, that standard ones will be used mostly. They do not protect Drs/nurses/allied staff in the slightest. It may stop us spraying patients, but it's not sealed at the sides and therefore wont prevent virus getting in. Gowns and gloves unless we are in theatre with a proven Covid isn't good enough and staff will get ill. I believe a young consultant in the region already has. Someone close to me in work, is in a bad way too. My wife will also now work 12hour days for 7 days a week, then 7nights, then cover shifts. We will plan to run without 30-40% of our usual work force.
I thankfully have tested negative after a period of illness- but possibly because it took too long for the government to allow testing, so I may of had it, but not enough viral RNA is present anymore to pick up.
Note: I've posted this on got, but I hope you respect me enough not to reproduce it anywhere else.
On a roll here 2x100% in a rowI have had the pneumonia jab many years ago it's a one off jab.
As becoming a grade 2 Diabetic the nurse then explained it takes a while for the jab to build up any immune defence in future life hence Diabetics should get it once diagnosed....any time of the year unlike the annual flu jab .....so as soon as it is available get it done asap![]()
