Come on mate. Pfizer boss says Pfizer drugs are effective.

Josef fritzl says he’s a good father.

Pfizer are trying to or have been able to keep the results of their data hidden for 50 years is it? Might be longer

Pi$$ up in a brewery springs to mind. The wife has just said that her trust has told staff that rather than getting lateral flow tests for the bi-weekly tests from the trust, they now have to get them via the same public portal as the rest of us. They can enter a code saying they're NHS staff, but this doesn't seem to matter, as there is still no supply. What a shambles.
Stops staff being off.
You can't fail a test if there is no test to fail.
Same at ours. All the tests have disappeared in mysterious fashion.

Hopefully will follow the same pattern as South Africa where some of those admissions were “with covid” vs “because Covid” and those that are for the disease are still mild

70% in SA, Legs (overall, not just in children, don't know if that data is available) were incidental admissions.

Of course have to be very careful because just because someone doesn't go in due to COVID doesn't mean they can't get ill from COVID.

But with Omicron especially, it really is important to be able to distinguish this.

To show the spread, I have 10 very good friends in London, 4 of which have tested positive in the last 2 days, and one of their girlfriends has too. All of them, plus the GF, are vaccinated and 3 of them have had COVID in the last 12 months.

Three of them currently asymptomatic, one of them has got their PCR back today as confirmed Omicron (they must have been randomly sampled) but they are feeling fine after feeling a bit badly yesterday with a sore throat and headache. The other one currently has body aches and a sore throat.

Shows how quickly it spreads, and they're all London based, but also hopefully an indication of just how mild Omicron could be - I stress, could be. As I said they have all had COVID or are vaccinated. Three of them were at the same party on Friday so it's a good chance they caught it there.

Great. Can take it going and coming back be sound that
Not to put a dampner on it but there's no set time.

I got mine back in three days. Came back, would you believe it, as I ate some melon! Literally had one piece and couldn't taste anything then 5 seconds later had another and it had come back.

My dad, who was double jabbed at the time, took a week or so. Then his taste was off for another week or two after that. My sister, who wasn't vaccinated at the time at all, lost hers for 3-4 weeks, same with her fiance. They've both got theirs back now though my sister still can't taste certain things (we all had COVID in July).

It's so random. As is COVID. There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to how it impacts people. Which is why anyone making sweeping, stereotypical statements either way (whether to downplay the virus or say how bad it is) needs to pipe down, frankly. It effects everyone differently and there seems to be no reasoning as to why.

Three days , three government members , three times wrong information was communicated.
When this happens, it's a bit easier to understand anti-vaxxers. I mean, they are still loonies, but when the govt keeps giving out wrong info and putting in place weird restrictions, it must be a bit easier for them to fall down the trap of not trusting anything.

Just red something on the lines that we may need a jab every 3 months until they get a vaccine that tackles all variants possible, once they do that a vaccine could last for few years. Bloody hope so were all starting to look like dartboards.
Heroin addicts can finally roll their sleeves up in public with confidence. Great news!!!

Yeah I said it the other day that these crazy conspiracy theorists for so long look like they have a point now, even if it's circumstantial that is the case. Not about microchips and 5g and all that nonsense.

The idea of control, about fear and all the rest of it. It's hard to look at those theories again and say they are wrong, even if the basis of them in the first place is.

We know it's a result of terrible politicians rather than a evil master plan but if that same theorist was saying it now, it's harder to dismiss them! Because you can't really explain it all away anymore without an element of doubt, although they still aren't true.

I read that if all Labour MPs too voted no, this would have been rejected ? What a missed open goal by Keir.
