You have to ask yourself....

If it was all so terryfying, scary and life threatening, that we had to avoid our loved ones and close down and decimate the hospitality industry last Christmas, then how come the Tories, the s*n newspaper business and all these other toffs thought it perfectly safe to have a number of parties with no social distancing and then have the balls to pee themselves laughing about it at a dress rehearsal for questions about said parties?

Something stinks folks.

While pubs and bars were on their knees, number 10 was on the wine and cheese.

something worse happened at the s*n party, according to popbitch

Politics as usual.
There's different rules for the "rulers" and the the "rulees"
It's not just politics tho RAF, it can't be, it's nonsensical.

I don't care who you are or what you do, why, if everything we have been told is true, would they say to us in Liverpool you are in tier 3 restrictions (as London was at the time) and can't do a number of things we would consider normal, and cripple the hospitality industry.

At the same time as doing this they and other of their ilk think it's perfectly safe for themselves to mix and mingle, drink, party, dance, snort, snog or shag strangers/assistants and God knows what else these mutants get up to at these parties, without any fear of contracting covid and the serious (or so called) consequences of that?!

It makes zero sense unless they never had anything to be afraid of in the first place?

Assuming you’re talking about the same thing I read, that was taking ignoring social distances to the extreme.
Not caught up on that yet, but I can only imagine with that shitrag, and the people it employs - they will get away with any fall out though, it shouldn't even be in circulation still FFS.

I've just had a really interesting conversation with a new client regarding Covid. I can't really give you much information about him for obvious reasons but what i will say is that he can speak with authority on the subject.

He explained that this is the 4th coronovirus of this type in existence. The other three have evolved to be more benign. The only one they have any real record of is the russian 'flu' in the 1890s which was actually a coronovirus.

That took 6 years and 10 waves to evolve to a benign version of itself.

He explained that the more hostile the environment is for a virus, the more accelerated the evolution process will be and the quicker a benign version of the virus mutate.

That's one of the reasons why vaccinations are important. They accelerated the evolution of the virus. The issue with this particular virus is that it is extremely primitive (in comparison with the flu and the other three versions) and so it is not very far in its evolutionary process.

Leaving effectiveness and the impact on health services aside, what vaccines help do is accelerate the evolutionary process which will mean that we can be out of this state of the world alot quicker than we would without them.

I thought the last paragraph was an interesting point and i'd never really seen it framed that way before and i wondered whether if it was framed in that way, it would encourage the unvaccinated to reconsider things.

The hope with Omricon is that this is indeed the start of COVID becoming more benign. Literally everywhere is reporting that the symptoms are very, very mild, especially if you're vaccinated.

Also, Omricon has come about as it's a mutation with one of those more benign coronaviruses that lead to the common cold. So basically, the common cold is now in the Omricon protein or cell or whatever it is. It's promising (though obviously still a worry).

Anyway another informative video. It's well worth a watch, plus watch yesterday's if you haven't already.

No conspiracy stuff or anything like that, just going through available figures and offering a balanced assessment.

Nobody - not one single person - in the national/broadcast media (based mainly in London) or a single MP questioned Hancock last December when they placed London into Tier 2. That decision alone would have been enough to lead to the rapid spread of the Kent variant (Beta?).

But none of them cared at the time. Didn't matter that the rest of the country was knackered (here in West Yorkshire we were in Tier 3 or lockdown from October through to April). As long as they were alright. I won't forgive any of them for that. Not one MP, as they all stood there and listened to Hancock that London would somehow be allowed to stay open.

Growth rate does seem to be dropping in the worst hit province although that rate it hit was

Quite a drop of though in growth (still growing obviously) mate, 50% at a rate almost as quick as the exponential growth, it’s a curious wave, we haven’t seen before.

We can’t even attribute to mitigation as it seems to me SA have been at their alert level 1 through all of this.

That wave is really curious, hard to explain, any ideas? Maybe locals self regulating.
