Do you get a choice of colour for the toaster, anything other than a cream wouldn't really go too well with the decor and the scheme we have gone with in the kitchen also we have a South facing window in the kitchen so on a clear morning the sun will shine in and cause a glare off a gloss finish toaster so it will have to be a matt to avoid morning glare, and just to finish is the toaster a regular 2 slice or the more efficient 4 slice between me my wife and two children the 2 slice models are a total disaster.. ya know what I'm OK for a toaster the one I have will do.. it's a cream, matt ,4 slice machine.. could they maybe do a kettle instead?

I tend to browse this thread these days, and still dont read squat in the papers.

But, with this new variant, as far as I can tell, (from this thread), there are very few cases of hospital admissions, and no deaths from it. Or is it too early to make that call in a scientific way?

(They seemed to get that info pretty rapid on the Kent/Delta one mind).

Some are struggling with the 3 week lag from hospitalization because of COVID to an untimely death, nearly two years now, evolution needs to sort itself out.

But what about the hospitalisation part/requiring oxygen which isn't happening in SA even with 80% unvaccinated? Has that step been missed?

The argument is that we shouldn’t follow the rules if some in government aren’t. I don’t think they’re the best role models.

I’ll go along with what scientists think is the best way we can realistically keep ourselves and others safe. And I’ll be doing it safe in the knowledge that I’m doing the right thing.

It sounds like you’re more scared of the conspiracy fears than most who would follow restriction rules are of the virus.
